Pingvellir National Park
Þingvellir (Thingvellir) is a historic site and national park in Iceland, east of Reykjavík. It's known for the Alþing (Althing), the site of Iceland's parliament from the 10th to 18th centuries. On the site are the Þingvellir Church and the ruins of old stone shelters. The park sits in a rift valley caused by the separation of 2 tectonic plates, with rocky cliffs and fissures like the huge Almannagjá fault.
Site de Geysir
Haukadalur is the home of hot springs, fumaroles, mud pots, and geysers, including the famous Great Geysir and the active Strokkur. The area is noted for the vivid coloration of its surrounding hills, caused by elements deep in the earth being brought to the surface by the geothermal activity.

Tinna was our recent private tour guide for the Golden Circle & Friðheimar Experience: Private Farm & Wonder Tour. The car was nice and cozy, Tinna picked us up from our Hotel in instantly started to teach us about Iceland geography, culture and people. Tinna has a naturalist spirit with a science minded perspective. Tinna is very educated and well knowledgeable in Viking history! We chatted the entire tour and she answered ALL our questions. Lunch was fun and delicious! This was a wonderful experience that my family and I will treasure forever! Thank you Tinna for all you have taught and shared with us and I do hope our paths cross again <3
