  Great tour, Captain John’s family has been on the island for generations so very knowledgeable as well as friendly. We truly enjoyed our time on the boat. John even gave us a great lunch recommendation (Captain Zach’s for Chincateague oysters and locally caught black drum).

  Wonderful tour! Will do it again on next visit. We were able to see the ponies and all kinds of birds. Highly recommend!

  The captain didn't cancel when it was just me, so I was able to enjoy the tour by myself. He was very knowledgeable of the wild life, and he paused whenever we arrived to something as he explained what it was and allowed for time to appreciate the view. I would definitely recommend this tour.

  We thought the tour was just okay. We spent the vast majority of the time looking at marine life rather than looking for the ponies. We literally spent about 7-8 minutes stopped in front of some marshes. The captain said there were some ponies out, but they were too far away to see. Quite frankly I was disappointed we didn’t stay longer to give them a chance to come closer.
