What To Expect
This is a fantastic hike for those wanting to escape the crowds of more popular routes up Table Mountain. We start from the Camps Bay side and head up one of the deep and epic ravines known as Kasteelspoort way. Beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean below and Lions Head can be had and, once on top, there is the opportunity to visit the Old Cableway and take a picture at the famous ‘Springboard rock’. This is a favourite amongst hikers to Cape Town.

5.00Excellent hike. It's challenging but also very rewarding, I completed it with a slight hip injury and still found it very achievable. Nick is a great guide, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Myself and my wife are very happy we chose a guide for this trail as it makes a huge difference ensuring safety and going in the correct direction!

5.00This morning the castle gate hike walked with our guide Nick. Very beautiful trip with beautiful views. Luck with the weather because it wasn't too hot and on the sunny parts happened to be a bit more cloudy. Super nice guide who took his time and made sure that everyone could keep up the trip by enough stops along the way. It was certainly some climbing but also enough flat parts to catch some breath. Once on Table Mountain, of course, a beautiful view of the city.

From start to finish, Nick was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly, making the entire adventure both enjoyable and educational. The hike itself was breathtaking, offering stunning panoramic views of Table Mountain, Camps Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean. Nick ensured we took the best route, shared interesting facts about the flora and fauna, and kept the pace comfortable for everyone in the group. One of the highlights of the hike was reaching the diving board rock—an iconic spot for photos and a moment to soak in the beauty of Cape Town from above. Nick helped capture some amazing shots, making the experience even more memorable! I highly recommend Nick and Path and Peak to anyone looking for a well-organized, safe, and fun hiking experience. 5.00Today we hiked up Table Mountain with Rob as a family and can absolutely recommend this tour! The organization and communication beforehand was excellent and during the hike Rob told us a lot about the paths, the rocks, the animals and plants and he took individual needs into consideration.

5.00So glad we hiked Table Mountain, what a fantastic experience, would certainly recommend this without hesitation. Our guide Celeste was first class, friendly, knowledgeable and set a pace that was comfortable with plenty of opportunity for photos, which was needed as the scenery is stunning.

5.00Excellent guided hike up Table Mountain. Rob was amazing, his knowledge of the mountain and its plants is fantastic, he showed us unusual plants including the flower that captures ants and dissolves them in acid. Rob was encouraging and gave us plenty of rest stops and the snacks were much appreciated, he was happy to take photos and even arranged for the sun to come out as we reached the summit 😄! Rob was a credit to the company and comes highly recommended, the company was quick to respond and accommodate changes due to weather
