The interesting conversation throughout the tour with my wonderful guide Darma. He took me to excellent places for photography and I did see the sun set on the temple after it was lit up by the setting sun.

The sunset was good. Tanah Lot is ver picturesque. That said it is not the nicest by any means and is surrounded by tourist traps. If you have to choose between this temple and some other one, I would choose something else.
