This is a truly remarkable experience; we would give it 10 stars if it were possible.. Our tour was with Dave and he delivered beyond any expectations. Noting that we had perfect weather and started early in the day, we were able to see multiple moose, numerous elk (one of which was no more than 10 feet from us), deer, and marmots. As the description of the tour details, the tour guide drives your vehicle. Dave drove our car with skill, and we were never concerned about the vehicle, even on non-paved roads. It's clear Dave has a passion for wildlife photography and spends considerable time in the park. He was able to find the animals at almost every stop we made. He also brings a high-powered scope that he uses to grab video and snaps that he shares with you at the end of the tour. He also shares his knowledge of how to improve the quality of the photos you take with your phone camera. We had many remarkable experiences in the park, and this tour was certainly at the top of the list.

Terrible, we didn't know that they will be using my car and my fuel to go through the tour, the tour was the way up to the meeting location so we basically paid to sit in our car and go around the same place we came from. The person who's driving is terrible at driving and took at least 2 potholes and almost scraped the whole side of the car. She was a great tour though and very nice. Overall it feels like straight robbery 734 dollars paid to sit in our car. Absolutely crazy.

There are some fishes and sometimes there are turtles, but too many boats in a small area. Nothing impressive.

All positive points: 1. Dave was our tour guide. A perfect gentleman and super knowledgeable guide. We did the 12:30-4ish tour 2. As a skeptical East Coaster, having someone else drive my car, and never meeting them and trusting them with my family.....to put you all at ease, Dave was a super cautious driver. I figured, maybe I would drive and have Dave just talk, but that would have ruined my experience as the driver. Having never been there, it was breathtaking and easy to miss so much. 3. I was originally thinking of a different tour, in an open back truck, but to be honest, being in my own car on a cold day, I enjoyed all the comforts of my personal vehicle, having water and extra clothes and most of all being able to stop at any sight we wanted to see. 4. We started at the Horseshoe Park, saw one moose (it was the middle of the day) then took Falls River Road to its end, saw the flooded area from 1982, circled back and took Trails Ridge Road to the Alpine Visitors center. Such amazing views!! Touched snow. So many great photos. What an amazing National Park. 5. Dave was super helpful, as we told him were planning on entering the Park the next day (12:30 entry) to see the other side (Sprague Lake and Bear Lake) but we also had a pass to enter at 4 the same day. He was so helpful by telling us we could see Moraine Park, Sprague Lake and Bear Lake within that time, and we made it back for dinner at 7:45. We saved a day and saw other beautiful parts of Colorado. Thanks for the tip Dave. 6. Dave gave a lot of information and great points you can’t get on your own. Highly recommend this tour.
