Astri was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about Santorini. He shared fascinating stories about the island’s history, culture, and volcanic past, while also taking us to the most breathtaking viewpoints and hidden gems. His friendly personality and calm approach made the tour both informative and relaxing. Sarah was equally delightful—kind, attentive, and welcoming. She added a personal and warm touch to the experience, making us feel more like guests than tourists. Together, Astri and Sarah worked seamlessly as a team, ensuring we were comfortable, well-informed, and enjoying every moment. 5.00Astri was a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable about the history of the Island and where all the best photo spots were. He helped us find lunch and took us around the whole island. We were so hay we found him. I would highly recommend him.
Best tour to capture Santorini in most aspects

5.00We booked the tour last minute (1pm booking for a 4pm tour) on Christmas Eve. We were nervous that the tour would not happen due to not enough passengers. After waiting for 6 minutes, we called Viator Support number and were asked to contact the tour operator directly. Though the tour operator was surprised a bit, he came to pick us up not long after. Ares (or Iris???, sorry i don't know how to write his name) is the driver and tour guy. His daughter Sarah is also the 2nd tour guy. They took us to Oia to see the sunset. We spent over an hour in Oia. Since it's getting dark early in December, Ares/Iris offered a full 4-hour tour for us the following day, which is Christmas day. They took us to all the stops as described in the tour itinerary. From Ares and Sarah, we learned so much about Santorini, its history, its population, etc. Ares and Sarah also took the best pictures for us. At the end, we are very pleased and satisfied with the tour itinerary, and our tour guides ( Ares/Iris and Sarah). We highly recommend this tour to everyone, especially first visitors to Santorini.

5.00Astri is the man about Santorini! He’s from Peloponnese but chose a life in this beautiful Cyclades island to raise his 3 beautiful daughters. He wears his heart on his sleeve - father to father, man to man. He was so knowledgeable, other tour guides we met along the way said we got the “guru” (master sifu). He must have enriched the lives of so many around him! His historical, cultural knowledge is spot on! This coming from a rather well researched traveller. My family thoroughly enjoyed the tailored/personalised experience with Astri - it’s obvious he knows his stuff. We loved all his authentic recommendations, from showing us his hometown of Messaria to the local restaurant by the Perivolous beach - it was all heartfelt. Maybe it’s the low-season (winter), but regardless, Astri’s dedication to excellence shines through - there’s no faking it. If you’re a seasoned traveller in search of rich cultural heritage and deep historical knowledge, Astri is your man. Highly, highly recommended!

5.00We recently did a half day tour with A A Travel. Astri was our guide and provided us with an exceptional tour all over Santorini. The tour was about 6 hrs starting and ending in Fira. Astri was full of historical facts and information about Santorini. We were treated to various villages, local cafe's, beaches , local restaraunt , winery, stunning views and more! The cost of the tour was very reasonable I highly recommend Astri. You won't be disappointed. Thank you for a great tour Astri!

5.00We arrived in Santorini by cruise ship and booked a tour of the island. Astri and his daughter Sarah did a wonderful job showing us the sights and telling us about life on the island. We went to beautiful beaches and to the top of the island with breathtaking views. They were friendly, so helpful and very knowledgeable. I would likely recommend this company for a day tour.
