Cam Thanh Village, known as the kingdom of coconut palms, attracts a lot of tourists not only for its beauty but also for its historical value. Join our tour, it is the perfect way to explore and get closer to the local life of the fisherman people here.
You will experience a local colorful market, learn how to deal with the local sellers, and learn all ingredients for the meals. Ride a basket boat for 45mins around the forest to explore the river channels of the Cam Thanh community, and enjoy coracle boat performances by locals which are really exciting. You will be provided instruction from the local fisherman, and learn how to make souvenirs from palm leaves, enjoy boat shaking and crab-catching, and attend a lantern-making class. There will also be a cooking class course by the local host and lastly, enjoy Vietnamese foods made by yourself.

What To Expect
Hoi An
Your guide will pick you up at your hotel. Going to experience a local colorful market, learn how to deal with the local sellers, and know all ingredients for the meals.
Take you to Phu Lanh Travel. You will enjoy a welcome drink. And then go to Cam Thanh coconut palm village. Upon arrival, our guide will take a brief about the village as well as the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families, and their community before you board on coracle boat.

5.00Great fun and amazing value. We went to the market to but some ingredients. Then on a coconut boat ride, which was great fun. Then on too later making and finished with an amazing cooking class and then we ate our fab food. Amazing value and such lovely staff, our guide Hami was fabulous .

5.00We were greeted by Lily from Phu Lanh travel last week during the sad flood period that hit the city. Despite the context (we were the only guests), we had a great time and learned a lot about Vietnamese culture, lantern making and cooking. We were not able to do the market and the boat tour but it was still very nice. The place is very warm and offers a beautiful experience. Thank you again for the Welcoming and courage for the coming typhoon, hoping that the region is not too badly affected again.
My friend and I had a wonderful time. The boats, lanterns and cooking was so good and they hosted the experience well

5.00Me and my daughter (8 years old) had the most amazing time. Everything was so well organized, the cooking experience amazing! And also the lathern making, boat and market trip. Hough was the best guide and she did so much to help my daugher and she was great at instructing us through out the course. My biggest recommendations

From the local market visit to the basket boat ride and the actual cooking, everything was really well organised and full of laughs. The instructors were friendly, patient, and great with children — they made sure everyone got involved. The dishes we cooked were delicious, and the kids were so proud of what they made. Highly recommend for families looking for something authentic and memorable!

5.00We had a fantastic experience with Thao and her family. They were very accommodating of different tastes and so kind and helpful to our children (who were not at their best that day). The boat ride was a core memory for everyone and I’m glad we have our lantern and recipes as a memento.
