What To Expect
The Marble Mountains
Following your requested time, our friendly driver pick up you at your lobby hotel then transfer to your hotel in Hue city. Along the way from Hue to Hoi An, we will stop at some beautiful landscapes to take photos such as: Marble Mountains where you can see some marble factories and see their art working. Conquer Heaven Gate and beautiful natural caves with Buddha statues, ancient pagodas.
Hai Van Pass
After that, we drive around 28km to the Sea Cloudy Pass known as Hai Van Pass – One of the highest pass in the country. It’s border between Hue city and Da Nang city. It’s one of the most scenic hillside roads in Vietnam. Sea cloud pass is the last spur of the Truong Son Range that reaches to the sea, sightseeing in Vietnam.

5.00Brilliant way to get from Hoi An to Hue. The car was very very comfortable and Michael was a friendly and attentive driver. He checked in with us regularly to make sure we were comfortable, was happy to stop for photos, and even offered to take us for extra stops at the beaches if we wanted to. He was also a very calm and careful driver and even gave us some rice crackers when we arrived in Hue. All the stops were lovely but we particularly enjoyed having lunch over looking Lap an Lagoon. The view was incredible and so was the food - it was a delicious meal! We would also highly recommend making a stop at Ang Bang cemetery. It seems a strange place to go as a tourist until you see it - it's utterly staggering seeing enormous, detailed, temple like tombs stretching as far as the eye can see and it was a real wow moment. Where we stopped there were no real paths to wander between the tombs so we did explore for a little while but not for as long as we would have if we had found a clear route around. But wow what a place! And Michael was also able to provide insight into the culture of the area and why the cemetery came to be so ornate and elaborate which was very interesting. And we arrived in Hue bang on time!

5.00We had a great time on our drive from Hoi An to Hue. Minh was a great and entertaining driver. We enjoyed seeing Marble Mountain and Hai Van pass, although it was raining for the latter.

5.00Great trip! Michael was really awesome!! We had lots of interesting conversations on our trip about a variety of subjects, not just the stops we visited along the way. Really enjoyed Marble Mountain…especially the caves. Views up on the pass were amazing! Luckily we had a nice day. I would highly recommend doing this trip. By the way…a trip on a Grab car is only a few dollars less so having Michael drive you with his great personality and knowledge is an easy decision.

4.00Good transfer, more or less exactly what we expected, although "Multi site seeing" is a bit misleading as there is only time for Marble Mountain and Lang Co, with one quick stop over the Hi Van pass. Nevertheless it took all day.
