This was a fantastic cooking course: it was an incredibly enjoyable experience from start to finish. When we arrived, Hideki (the instructor) welcomed us and gided us to his house. Hideki was exceptionally nice, making us feel welcome and comfortable right from the beginning. He answered all our questions and we chatted about many things during the class and that made the class even more enjoyable. The instructions were simple and clear, perfectly suited for both beginners and those with some cooking experience. Each step was explained thoroughly, with plenty of demonstrations to ensure we understood the techniques. His english was very clear and we could see that he has a lot of experience in cooking. The straightforward approach made the seemingly complex process of making ramen approachable and fun. The dumplings were the most challenging part, but they came out pretty decent after a few tries. The shape wasn't perfect but the taste was delicious. As for the result, it was absolutely amazing. The flavors were rich and authentic, surpassing my expectations. The ingredients were fresh, and the broth, in particular, was a highlight, simmered to perfection. The dumplings were very tasty. It was very interesting to learn a new way of preparing "simple" things as a broth that are made in such a different way from our cuisine culture (we are Italian and Swiss). The entire process was genuinely fun. Hideki was engaging and rewarding in every step. The hands-on experience, combined with the instructor’s encouragement and expertise, made this cooking course a memorable and highly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in mastering the art of ramen!

Hide was an amazing host. We kept in contact via Whatsapp as we were tad late due to figuring out the train. He walked us to his humble home and was very welcoming. It was just a class for 2 people but Hide made us feel like we were friends for a long time. He is an excellent instructor and excellent chef. He sells professional Japanese knives that we were able to cook with before purchasing. He also engraves them. We took one home and it was one of the highlights of our trip! We are excited to make this nutritious authentic Japanese meal at home!

Host met us at the train station. Communication was very clear on how to meet. We then walked to his home for the private cooking class. He had prepared a small recipe book for us to follow, along with sourcing ingredients. Walked us through each step and we made delicious ramen and gyoza. Hoping to recreate at home. Very hospitable and friendly.

Intimate class in Hide’s home. Ramen and gyoza tasted great! Hide was a good cook and made a take home instruction booklet for us to have. The experience was hands on and informative. Hide also escorted us to/from the train station which also made it convenient and easy to access!

Hide was an amazing host - met us at the train station, and took us to his place to make ramen and gyoza. He was a professional ramen chef, and clearly knows what he is doing. Unlike some cooking classes I've taken, this one included LOTS of hands on involvement - we got to prep ingredients, and did a lot of the cooking with Hide. The food was plentiful and tasty! Hide then walked us back to the train. A wonderful experience.

We did the ramen and gyoza cooking class with Hide and loved it. The food is great, and he is great at conversation. I would recommend trying this cooking class if in Tokyo.

What a wonderful experience. Hide was great at communication and was able to accommodate our dietary restriction. He picked us up from the station, walked us to his home and taught us how to make the dishes. We were completely involved in the process and the food was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this to everyone.
