When I first went on the actual hop on hop on site, it quoted me a price for the DC with the Arlington tour. Then later when I went on to actually book it, unfortunately I didn’t realize I wasn’t on the original trolley hop on hop on site, but I was on the website for Viator. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry because everyone was waiting for me and I booked a trolley hop on hop on for DC before I realized that the price was different. Then I realized I had been charged a full $100 more on the Viator website than the original site for the exact same Washington DC tour. So BEWARE. The Viator site charges a lot more for the same tour if you book through them. So be careful and make sure you’re on the right site. I’m out $100 and it stinks.

We had to wait for our bus for 2 hours at the first stop, saw we lost a lot of our time waiting at the visitor center gift shop.

We were able to see the sites that interested us and make it around the city in a timely manner. Taking the tour at Arlington was definitely worth it as it would have taken hours to walk which was time we didn’t have.

Wonderful way to see Washington DC! The drivers were extremely friendly and made the tour so much fun! (Especially Joe Moe!) All tour guides very informative about the city's history and landmarks. Very easy on and off stops- busses were there every 15-20 minutes. A big bonus was being shuttled to Arlington and using the trolley while there. My family only had a day in DC and we were able to see so much because of this tour, and would have not learned what we did about the city's history if we toured on our own.
