The tour was wonderful, informative, and interesting showing the highlights of the citadel. The guide was very easy to understand, friendly, and very approachable - she answered any questions we had - no matter how silly it seemed to ask

When we booked the only time we could make was booked out, but they organised a new group, which we extremely appreciated. On top of that our Tour Guide, Xi (C), was very knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. She explained everything very well and gave also historical background. We would definitely recommend this Tour with Xi.

Most of the imperial city has been bombarded during the war and only half has been restored. 90 mins walk with a tour guide would be sufficient. Our experienced guide Nhien walked us through palace to palace and told us the story of each of the imperial family member. Despite the effort trying to restore it to the original shape, the material used can hardly duplicate. The collection is very limited since most artifacts have been destroyed. Those who expect to see the actual palace might be disappointed.
