Explore a fruit & provision farm in the historic Hull Bay neighborhood and enjoy the beach! We will pick you up in the beautiful Yacht Haven Grande Marina (YHG) to make our way to Hull Bay. Before we arrive, we will stop at historic Drake’s Seat for breathtaking views of the beaches and neighboring islands. After this photo stop, arrive at the farm in historic Hull Bay to touch exotic fruit trees & plants, learn about the West Indian farming culture, and enjoy an ice-cold, home-made popsicle. After the farm tour, have your complimentary rum punch at a neighborhood beach bar (family-friendly) where you can put in your lunch order before splashing around and lounging at the beach. Maybe even play a game of dominoes with the local fishermen. After lunch at the beach, we’ll take you back to YHG where you can roam the marina to take pictures in front of local murals, shop for souvenirs, and more.

Drake's Seat

On your way to Hull Bay, stop at historic Drake's Seat for breathtaking views of the beaches and neighboring islands. Don't forget to take pictures!

You will get to tour a beautiful fruit and provision farm. Touch, smell and taste Caribbean plants, learn about island agriculture, and decompress in this island oasis right next to the beach. While there, enjoy a popsicle made with fruits from the farm.

This tour was one of my favorite activities on the whole trip but what made our trip extra special was the man who took us: Eddie. He was seriously incredible, he had such an intimate knowledge of the island and was such a warm and genuine person. My fiancé and I had got engaged that morning and he went above and beyond to make an amazing day somehow even better. He even took us home across the island free of charge and took the scenic route and was just the most lovely person my fiancé and I had talked to. I can’t say enough how amazing our experience was. We would love to see Eddie again and hope he is rewarded for his dedication to making amazing experiences for travelers! As far as the farm at Hull Bay, it was breathtakingly lush and well kept. We had a super sweet and knowledgeable guide, Alexa, who did a wonderful job and went into detail about all the plants that can be found in the farm. She answered questions and was all around a treat to be around. I recommend this experience to anyone visiting Saint Thomas! Thanks to everyone who made this experience possible!

We were picked up in front of Momma’s Shack at Yacht Haven Grande by Eddie. He was very personable and nice. He gave a great overview and history of St Thomas. We were very impressed by the farm and their efforts at growing fruits, vegetables and herbs to use in their restaurants. The grounds were beautiful. And being so close to the ocean. Lunch on the beach was nice and relaxing. I would highly recommend Eddie and this tour.

This was our second experience with Eddie and TrekLocal, and it did not disappoint! The view from Drake's Seat was beautiful, even with the haze from the Saharan sands that morning. The farm itself was gorgeous, and the tour was very informative. It was great to learn about local flora and their sustainable farming efforts and work with the University of the Virgin Islands. Our farm guide even picked a starfruit from the tree for us to try when I said I'd never had it! That and the pineapple starfruit popsicle at the end were both delicious! Beach time was wonderful as it always is on St Thomas, and it was nice to spend time at a quiet location that we never would have visited on our own. Definitely book this experience if you're able!

We had an amazing day with our tour guide. The views from Drake's seat were ABSOULTELY Breathtaking! We also enjoyed the farm tour in Hull Bay as well. The tour guide did an excellent job of explaining the exotic fruits and plants. It was interesting learning about the West Indian farming culture. The best part of course was spending time at the beach. We really made a splash! :) Book your next excursion with TrekLocal, you won't regret it!
