"Impression Liu Sanjie" embodies a vivid and luxurious style, using the largest domestic environmental art lighting project and unique smoke effect project to create a poetic and dreamlike visual effect. Traditional performances are performed in a limited space in the theater, but this performance uses nature as the real stage. Looking around, the water of the Li River and the mountains of Guilin become the central stage, giving people a broad vision and a transcendent feeling.

Traditional stage performances are human creations,while "landscape performance" is a joint creation between humans and God. In Impression-Liu Sanjie, the looming peaks, the reflection of the water mirror, the embellishment of mist and rain, the whisper of the bamboo forest, and the spreading of the moonlight will enter the performance at any time and become wonderful interludes.

"Impression-Liu Sanjie" is a large-scale real-life performance of Guilin's landscape. It has pioneered China's tourism real-life performance and is also the originator of Zhang Yimou's "Impression" series. As of March 2024, it has performed more than 8,000times, received 3 million foreign guests, and received 20 million audiences.

We were brought to see this event by China Highlights on our tour in Guilin. “Impressions” was an unbelievable theatrical experience which combined the natural beauty of the river and mountains around us in Guilin, China.
