This activity is perfect for first-timer snowshoers looking to get out on a winter trail. After a quick introduction to the snowshoe equipment, we will immerse ourselves in the forest on a homemade secluded winter trail. Up the mountain we go, exploring uninterrupted Tahoe National Forest. Tall pine trees, open meadows, and mountainous scenery are enjoyed with every new step into the woods. On this adventure vista of the surrounding ski resorts of Alpine Meadows and Palisades Tahoe are enjoyed at various lookouts. We spend roughly 2 hours exploring the woods on various loop trails. Due to the seclusion, seeing another person is highly unlikely. So step off the beaten path and allow us to show you a true mountain outing you won’t surely forget. This hike is considered a beginner in difficulty best suited for kids 7 years and up

Amazing time in the snow. It was our first time ever snowshoeing, and everybody had a blast. For a bunch of older ladies with knee issues, it was a good workout. Seth was great, very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommend.

Really fun winter hike. Our guide, Paul, was helpful and informative. We hiked up the ridge for a beautiful view. I thought 2 hours was a short hike, but that altitude made 2 hours plenty long enough! Had a great time and highly recommend.

My husband and I are skiers but have never snowshoed. Had an absolutely amazing experience with Seth. He was friendly and knowledgeable, flexible and accommodating, as most of our small group were inexperienced. Got into the backwoods and had gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and some awesome meadows. Highly recommend this magical adventure to all ages!

Paul and his crew were great! He was very patient for beginners and he made sure we had the best experience explaining details of the natural life and the area in general. The views were unique!!! I highly recommend this experience. (BTW, I did it twice this winter)

This was our first snowshoe experience and it didn’t disappoint! Pauly was a great guide who was very knowledgeable and let us take it slow. The scenery was unbelievably gorgeous! This is a must do!

Very pleasant snowshoe hike, great guide with bonus tree identification tips. Parking was plenty. Everything happened on time, the equipment was adequate and the route was easy for a beginner.

magic, snow shoe walk, beautiful. Easy pace for adults, children and young adults. Pauly was a great guide, giving nature and historical tips and trivia as we snow shoed. This was our first experience with snow shoes, our sons loved it!
