Local host Ann is excited to welcome guests in to her Dublin home. At this intimate social dining experience, you'll help Ann cook a traditional Irish dinner, that you'll then enjoy together in a fun, friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Ann will share some of her food, her stories and her culture with you. First, you will make traditional Irish soda bread, a heart warming Irish soup, a Beef and Guinness casserole and buttery Colcannon. Then, when everyone sits down to dinner you will have some good craic (craic in Ireland means good fun, music and conversation!). After dinner, Ann will show you how to make your own Irish Coffee and being a true Blue, she will be at hand to give you information and advice on the city so that you get the most and the best out of your stay in Dublin. By the end of the evening, you will have made new friends and will have experienced a genuine Irish welcome which I hope will be one of your lasting memories of your time in Ireland. It was a great experience. Anne is a lovely person and a wonderful host. The food was delicious. The evening was more like a dinner party with friends that it was a class - though we did learn a lot. It's also an easy bus ride from the city center.

We had a great time at this cooking class. Ann has a cozy, lovely home in Dublin. She taught us how to make wonderful Irish food, each of us had tasks to do, she gave us our own cookbook, and made the evening so special. There were 8 of us in all from all over the U.S. Lively conversation, lots of wine, super kind hostess and an all around fabulous experience!

We needed a taxi both ways but it was totally worth it. Our host Ann was knowledgeable and we each helped with a job to create the dinner…which was very yummy! Enjoyed sharing the experience with 3 other couples. Ann provided a cookbook for each of us with recipes for what we cooked. Highly recommend this excursion.

It was a wonderful evening with Ann at her house in Dublin. We were a small group of 8 people from 3 countries and had lots of fun. Luckily Ann did the pre-work already, so we all just had to do the fine-tuning and enjoy the information and explanation of preparing Irish food. Everything was yummy! Especially the preparation of the Irish Coffee with "The president" was grand. Thank you for a wonderful time, Ann!
