English Review This was one of the most meaningful experiences during our time in Hakone. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, allowing us to truly focus on the traditional art of Japanese papermaking. The instructor was kind, patient, and explained each step clearly, making it easy even for beginners. Creating my own handmade washi paper was a special moment and a wonderful memory to take home. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an authentic and peaceful cultural activity in Hakone.

It was a valuable experience to learn how Japanese traditional washi is made with children!️ The staff were very kind and polite explanation and easy to understand 👏 I also made handprints and thought it would be good as a record of my growth such as my child's birthday 😌

It's been a while since I've had a day off, so I went to Hakone with my kids. I participated in the papermaking experience as the first event of the Hakone Petit trip, close to Hakone Yumoto Station. I thought about papermaking very easily, but it made me realize that there is history in the depths. It was an easy experience, and it was a valuable time for children. It was also during the open special price period, so it was a great experience for me at a reasonable price. I'm going to Owakuya with the leftover money! Thank you very much for your kind guidance, store manager!

He explained the history of Echizen washi, the plants used, the many processes until he finally learned that he could make the paper, and that it took time to dry even after he made it. We were so happy to take home our own washi paper on the day, and we were very moved to use it with care. It was an Echizen washi workshop that made me want to continue supporting them.

I booked it because I wanted to give the kids an experience they would never have at home. When I went there, I learned from the history of washi, and the very friendly manager gently taught me the procedure. This time, I made it in my favorite form because I was able to do it on a charter plan with my friend's family. It was very nice to see the individuality of each one in the form of topping up your favorite decorations after paper scooping 💓 The process of drying washi is a surprise and must-see✨ It was very good to make memorable memories in form ✨

After experiencing washi with my kids, kids who didn't know much about washi were also the first to show me a video explaining washi and it was easy to understand! After that, I was able to experience making washi paper, The manager gently taught me from the start, and the children were very easy to understand! You can leave your handprints, your favorite flowers and leaves. I was able to add my own favorite colors, gold and silver leaf, and I was able to make washi paper that I made in a world of great satisfaction! Kids and parents had a memorable experience! When I brought home the finished washi, they gave me the freedom to choose the pattern of the large envelope that would hold the take-away washi, and I was thrilled to the end! The time to dry washi was also shown a video of the history of washi. I thought it would be perfect for children's project research during summer vacation! The kids want to come too!! He said that. It was quite a fun experience to make washi paper, which is not often touched! As a parent, I enjoyed it too! It was a wonderful memory for me! I recommend it.
