It was a good experience. However it was very expensive. Also, the tram was crowded. Too many people

Excellent half day spent in the mountains. We drove from Jasper town centre, about 10 minutes, but shuttle buses are available. You are transported standing up as if you were on a tube/subway train but a knowledgable guide explains the main features. At the summit, you have boardwalks for a 360 degree panoramic view. The path to the summit is well marked but steep, stony & gravelly - please wear appropriate footwear (2 people wore flip flops!!). There are a couple of loops from the main path which are less steep. The Upper Station has a very good restaurant and gift shop. Overall, the cost may seem high but it is worth every cent - just hope it is a clear day for the stunning views

The Gondola takes about 12 people gently up the mountain. When you get off the hard work starts! Wear good footwear as it’s quite a hike to the top of the mountain but it’s well worth it for the panoramic views of Jasper and the surrounding mountains, rivers and lakes. Depending on how often you stop to admire the view (or catch your breath) you will need at least 2 hours at the top.

A must do if visiting Jasper, ride up is stunning, we had a lovely clear day, views from all side are amazing, you can trek up to the summit but we only did a partial climb. Restaurant at the top is small and there is not really anywhere to sit if the weather isn't good. Quite expensive for 1 to 2 hours but the views are worth it.

Great experience despite we started with nice chilly weather then snow fell while we're on the top! Fun experience
