It’s was fun although I was a little scared but the owner informed me that it will not throw you out of the car! We had life jackets so I felt a little better.

Although we did not get enjoy the actual JetCar experience - I am still leaving a 5 star review based on the company’s customer service and communication the day our experience was supposed to take place. Sadly the tides were just too rough at their first location for us to take the JetCar out on the water, they attempted to move us to their second location to use the JetCar but unfortunately the water was too rough there as well. The company kept us informed throughout the process of this and although our experience was ultimately cancelled and refunded we still appreciate the great customer service.

Golfer! Don't fall for it! My tour was scheduled for Thursday 02/10/2025, was part of my boyfriend's birthday present. We arrived 15 minutes earlier at the venue, they offered us jetski and I informed that I bought and paid for the tour on jetcar, the present manager named Bastian/Keith simply said “no, there is no car today, the waves are very strong” and offered us to do the tour on jetski instead - being that I paid for a tour on jetcar and the tour on jetski is considerably cheaper, they also did not offer to refund the difference, and I will not mention that they did not send a message canceling to avoid generating proof that they did not perform the Service - I said that it was a matter of doing the tour on jetcar and he sent us back the other day. We came back the other day, on Friday, at the same time and found no one. We tried again on Saturday, when they saw us offered us jetskis - keep this information, it makes it clear that they had jetskis available for use - and I explained what had happened, showed a photo that my boyfriend took with Keith and explained that he guaranteed that we would do the tour and that it was not for us to be worried. One employee started calling another and then another, always pointing us to a new Cover. At the end, an employee directed us to another place called Sand Trap and said that another part of the team was on the spot and that if we wanted we could do the jetski tour at maximum. We accepted even knowing that we were already at a disadvantage simply to not go through the stress we are now going through in requesting a refund. Upon arriving at Sand Trap came the surprise: there was nobody there. Employees of another Enterprise who knew the Jetways managers called from their phone to a man named Timmy. Timmy falsely claimed to have already made the refund, I confided in my card and the refund was not included, he said that to make the tour in the jetski, the compensation tour, which costs less than the tour I hired we would have to pay again - I think Timmy thinks his customers have clown face -. It is extremely unbelievable, thank God I recorded the call and can use it to prove if you try to continue with this scam that are trying to apply to me and question my refund request. We said again that the tour was already paid, that the refund had not been made, that we were just looking for a way to resolve the situation and Timmy turned off our face. We tried to call over and over from my boyfriend's phone which is also recorded and he just didn't answer. That's absurd. They leave the tour available on the website even if there is no possibility to make a purchase for you and at the time they say that your tour will not happen and offer you a jetski - which is cheaper, making you lose money - instead. When we accepted the jetskis they simply sent us somewhere else to disguise us and they delivered nothing. They are not professionals, they are scammers, they are using Viator to hurt people, they should even be banned from the platform. I've filmed and recorded everything, I want my money back, I hope the platform takes science and does something about it and that these thieves don't take advantage of anyone else. Ugly people, they seemed already used to doing that.

We booked a 3 hour private boat tour, confirming prior to booking that we could visit the swimming pigs, have the kids go tubing and drive the car in the ocean. If you are booking a private tour, please note that JetWavz stated that they usually meet at the Woodes Rodger’s Wharf Dock near Señor Frogs. JetWavz doesn’t have a stand or employees stationed at the dock, but you can call the dispatcher to let them know you have arrived and they will send your boat captain to pick you up at the dock next to Senor Frogs. We arrived on time at 10 am to the pickup location, and our captain was 20 minutes late, so just make sure you have water and try to stand in the shade. The private tour took us to the pig island successfully, and the pig handlers gave the children food to feed the pigs. Please note that if you visit the pig island and don’t have food for the pigs in your hands, you should raise your hands up high so the pigs won’t come near you searching for food (they can accidentally step on your feet as they search for food so you don’t want them coming too close to you until you have food on a stick for them). My son is afraid of animals, which was part of why we booked a private tour instead of a group tour so we would be able to leave whenever he became overwhelmed. My daughter loves animals and my son loves tubing, so we booked a private tour so that would incorporate both their favorite activities so everyone could be happy. My son hit his limit on the pig island after 20 minutes, so I found our captain and told him we’d like to leave. He told me he was waiting for something to be delivered, and we would leave soon. After another 10 minutes, I found him to tell him we really needed to leave because my son was upset and he again told me he was waiting for something. He arranged for jet skis to bring us back to the boat. We returned to our boat but the boat didn’t move. We had been told by our driver when we boarded that after the pig island we were supposed to go to a private island where we would go tubing next. Another employee arrived on a jet ski. As the captain tried to fix the battery, the jet ski driver offered to take our kids for a ride on the jet ski. The US Embassy recently issued warnings against using jet skis in the Bahamas since so many tourists have been injured, so this was not an activity I had requested for our private tour. But since my son was upset, and I figured the jet ski driver would be an expert at driving jet skis I agreed to let the children ride the jet ski, which they enjoyed. The jet ski operator took the kids to the banana boats on the pig island, and they arranged for the kids to have a ride on a banana boat. After one ride, they told my husband if the kids wanted any more rides we would have to pay for them (the banana boat was operated by another company). Everyone swam back to our boat, and we waited as another boat arrived, and they tied the second boat to our boat and tried to jump our battery but that didn’t work. At 1:00 pm we started getting concerned since all aboard was 2:30 pm and our boat still wasn’t working. The boat was finally fixed, and we headed to the beach with the water car. There are uninhabited islands that comprise part of the Bahamas, but the jetcar is operated from a beach on Nassau where there were other people swimming and using jetskis. The section of the beach the jetcar drives from has significantly fewer jetskiers and swimmers than other nearby more popular parts of the beach, but there are still some swimmers and jetskiers nearby. Please exercise great caution while driving because the jetcar lacks windshield wipers, which greatly decreases visibility when the water from the ocean splashes the windshield. Please also note that one pedal makes the car boat drive backwards, and another pedal makes it drive forward, which can be a little challenging to get used to for people only familiar with driving regular cars. As my husband prepared to drive, I asked the people nearby to give us a little space for safety reasons, and you might want to try to clear the vicinity of the car boat prior to driving. There is a drone operator who took very good photographs and brief videos of the jetcar, and you can request that he film you and he will let you review the images prior to deciding if you would like to purchase them. We left the jetcar at 2 pm, and arrived at the port at 2:29 pm with an all aboard of 2:30. We made it back to the ship by 2:40, but due to the significant crowd of people returning, we were not in danger of actually missing the ship. I contacted the company to request a partial refund due to the battery dying on our boat. My children were not able to participate in one of the three activities we contracted (tubing). Because our 3 hour tour was scheduled to begin at 10 am, we should have had plenty of time to have lunch at Arawak Cay and visit the straw market after our tour, but instead we were returned to the port at 2:29 for an all aboard time of 2:30. I received the following response from the company: “It was noted in the footage that your kids had the opportunity to enjoy tubing several times during your experience with us. They also enjoyed jetskiing along with your husband as well as snorkeling. 2 activities that were not included in your experience however we accommodated the request of your family for them to enjoy these additional experiences. With regards to the extra battery being requested by our captain that was the auxiliary battery which powers the dock lights, fish finder and other non essential equipment on the boat that had no bearing on your tour or you ability to depart upon request. It was requested by our captain in preparation for the fishing tour scheduled immediately after yours. The main and backup batteries necessary to power the engines and other essential equipment were fully charged and operational for your tour and the tour immediately after yours. “ This was a very surprising response, because my overall impression on the day of the tour had been that they had tried their best to keep my kids happy despite the fact that the battery on the boat died. But what they stated occurred in their email would actually be far, far worse than the boat battery dying on our tour. It is unacceptable for a tour company to refuse to let the boat leave the pig island on a private boat rental two hours after we asked to leave if all they were doing was delivering nonessential equipment for the next boat rental. It would be understandable that cruise ship passengers might return to the port at all aboard time if there was an emergency like a dead battery, but it is inexcusable to return cruise ship passengers to the port at all aboard time – one and half hour later than the scheduled end of their tour - simply to deliver nonessential supplies. At no point did we snorkel. There was no time for tubing pulled by our boat, which was one of the three activities we had requested prior to booking and they’d agreed to provide. My children both went on one banana boat ride while we were stranded at the pig island and were then told we’d have to pay an additional fee for additional rides (the banana boat was operated by a different company). As my husband was dealing with getting my daughter off the banana boat, our son didn’t realize he should exit and stayed on for a second ride. At no time did we ever request jet ski rides for our children, as I was concerned by the US Embassy’s warnings over this specific activity and did not intend to let my children go on jet skis. However, when faced with a boat that wasn’t moving and an upset child, I agreed to let my kids go on the jet skis, which they enjoyed. We were told by one of the employees the battery had died on our boat, and we also witnessed a second boat arrive, get tied to our boat, and the captain attached jumper cables between the two boats. I’m far from an expert on boat repair, but it did look like they were trying to jump start the boat’s battery. Parents should also note that the boat’s life jacket for our 6 year old was too big (photo attached), and parents should bring their own life jackets for small children if they choose to rent a boat through Jetwavz. Overall the car is a very unique and fun experience, but please be very careful if you choose to drive it, since the nearby jet skiers may also be quite inexperienced at driving their jet skis and please also make sure to schedule any activity with this company with a lot of buffer time for all aboard if you are visiting Nassau on a cruise ship.

They were so kind and welcoming, which really made the whole experience even better. The staff took the time to explain everything clearly, making it super easy and fun to learn. The equipment was top-notch, and the whole atmosphere felt safe, exciting, and professional. If you’re looking for a watersports activity in The Bahamas, I couldn’t recommend JetWavz Bahamas enough.
