4.00A really good overview of the city. An eye opener in many respects about JoBerg and South Africa. This is really a young country and people seem to really treasure their freedom and do not take it for granted. The guide at the prison was very knowledgeable but his accent was so strong I had trouble understanding him.

5.00Another must-do in Joburg, especially when staying in areas like Sandton. We did a taxi ride with Tupelo (sp ?) who was excellent. What a shock to see the areas we couldn’t have visited at all without him. Constitution Hill was so worth seeing, brutality and all.

5.00The constitutional hill, was very emotional and insightful of the struggles, the oppression and the inhuman treatment suffered by black South Africans under the apartheid. The environment still speaks of the dehumanizing and debilitating sufferings inflicted on them. Visiting the judicial court, the architecture was in keeping with the culture along with the primary function being to protect human rights. We had enough time to tour and excellent tour guide was provided to us. Gave us a good detailed explanation of the city of Johannesburg while also stopping at Gandhi square. Our tour guide Mr. Thapelo , a good communicator , had a depth of knowledge about history, culture and the entire experience interesting and engaging.
Best tour to see the city if you are limited on time in Jo-Burg

5.00We had an amazing experience guided by Lindela. Lindela is so knowledgeable and took us to very historic places while answering our questions. We also really enjoyed our tour around Soweto, getting to see the local homes and how people get by as they wait for government housing. Many thanks to Lawerence for showing us around.
