What To Expect
Quail Springs Trail
Our first stop on our tour and maybe one of the best, Quail Springs is a playground of rocks and boulders which are said to be some of the oldest in the park, around 1.7 billion years old, much older than the dinosaur. Fun stop, great for photos and walking around some old granite boulders.
Banana Cracks Rock
We will take you straight to the big rocks of Hemmingway called Banana Cracks. Advanced rock climbers climb these boulders but for us we can just look at them and marvel at their beauty. Lots of beautiful Joshua Trees and giant boulders which you can walk on and take pictures.

5.00Great variety in this Tour. We spent about 4.5 hours in JT NP with Frank as our guide. He was terrific—very friendly and knowledgeable. Positive attitude and a fun Cali vibe. You could really sense his passion for JT and sharing it with us. Tour offered great variety of terrain. We did some boulder scrambling, saw rock formations and Joshua Trees, completed a nice hike at Hidden Valley and took in great views from the heights overlooking the Palm Springs Valley and finished with another short scenic hike. Van transportation between spots, and we appreciated the fact that water and granola bars were provided too. Tour wrapped with some good suggestions on areas to explore on our own, dining spots, etc. I highly recommend this tour if you are a first time visitor and want to get a good lay of the land and want variety in your experience!

5.00Spencer personally texted us with all the information needed for the tour. He had water bottles and granola bars for us in the van. He had knowledge of the park and the terrain, flora and fauna and geographic features. He was informative, helpful, patient and friendly with all guests. When we discovered there were closures of the main entrance closest to the visitor center, he quickly made an adjustment to drive to 29 Palms to another entrance. We saw beautiful terrain and formations with hikes at each stop. Saw some birds and I spotted a coyote! Spencer gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant in Joshua Tree. All together a very pleasant day! We recommend his tour.

5.00We have never been to a Joshua Tree . We didn’t want to just go and not know anything or what to see. We didn’t an excursion because we wanted to know information and sights to see. Frank, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and took us to see and experience the park. He knew the history and took us to safe places to rock climb at our level of experience. (We are inexperienced) If you are experienced or with kids these tour guide will take you to places at your level. It was a great experience. We didn’t have to drive and we were able to sight see to the fullest. I definitely recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed.
