Our guides are experienced and knowledgeable and will take you on a journey through our sky. Learn to find north and the location of our seasonal triangles, constellations and planets. Using high-powered laser pointers, we will provide you an entertaining and scholastic experience, with stories about ancient civilizations, Greek mythology, and the evolution of the Cosmos.
Our telescopes are operated with a keypad and are as easy to use as sending a text. Telescopes are pre-programmed with our object list for the night. Pressing one button on the keypad moves the telescope to the next object.
We regularly view the following types and classes of objects: Galaxies, Nebulae, Star Clusters, Double and Binary Stars, Planets, Earth’s Moon, Globular Clusters, Comets, and more. Depending on timing, the International Space Station (ISS) and Starlink trains can be seen passing overhead.

Stargazing Joshua Tree is pleased to host you, family, & friends for an entertaining evening of stargazing and astronomy under the internationally certified dark skies of Joshua Tree. Starting with a short walk through a scale model of our solar system, our guides will familiarize you with our neighboring planets as astronomical twilight begins to set. Each guest lounges in their own Yogibo. These seats conform to your body, eliminating pressure points to make it comfortable and easy to view the star-filled sky. Our astronomers will present a 2-hour program that includes state-of-the-art telescopes and laser pointers to guide you around the constellations and objects of the night sky. We also provide guests an up-close view of celestial objects (galaxies, nebulae, clusters) through our powerful telescopes. Hot beverages are provided - hot chocolate, coffee and tea. TRANSPORTATION IS NOT INCLUDED. Guests transport themselves to tour location. ACTIVITY IS WEATHER DEPENDENT. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we will attempt to reschedule your experience, or provide you with a 100% refund. We are not responsible for any expenses made outside of our operations.

There isn’t a downside to this experience. The storytelling is funny, informative, and super comfortable. You feel very much engaged in a conversation, not only about the stars, but why they’re there and where we are in the universe. The hosts make every possible effort for your comfort, from the super comfortable beanbag chairs to the high-powered binoculars to the hot beverages. A top-notch experience!

this was the best tour experience of our trip out west! at first we were nervous we would go to the wrong location, however they kept in communication to make it very simple to get to and totally worth it! our guide was a wealth of knowledge and we saw things we never thought we would see before.

How are the photos being sent? Good directions to venue, new team members, but they did well-at times the cold distracted from the event. Would appreciate the professional photos to be circulated as promised.
