Learn about traditional Ugandan clothing such as the Gomesi, Kanzu, and Bitenge styles. Visit a few key tailoring shops and observe the creative process in real time. Enter a bustling fabric store and browse through a variety of African prints such as Kitenge, Ankara, Kikoy, and more. Learn about fabric symbolism, color meanings, and cultural context choose a fabric swatch and receive a quick styling demo on how locals wear it head wraps, draping, or casual wraps. Take measurements for a custom outfit which can be picked up later or delivered at a personal expense. After an exciting exploration, your guide will take you back to the meeting point.

Wake up early, have breakfast and set off by 6:00am for the game drive. The drive gives possibilities of catching the early risers and big cats in action before they retire to their havens. Other animals you will see during the drive include Lake Chad buffaloes, African elephants, Lelwel’s hartebeest, Nubian giraffes, oribis among other species. Common bird species include the Goliath heron, African skimmer and the Red-throated bee eater. Head to the lodge for lunch and to relax. Shortly after lunch head for a launch cruise on the Nile to the bottom of the falls. This water safari will expose you to schools of hippos, Nile crocodile busking by the river side and different bird species and other wildlife drinking water at the shores. Depending on the fatigue, you can choose to head back to the lodge for relaxation or continue with a short game drive.
