After the initial chaos of working out which tour bus to be on, the tour took a nice leisurely pace to its intended locations. There was some confusion because the Tour mentions Swim at Kavala beach. Due to the beach not being opened (life savers) there was initially an intention not to go there. But the Tour Guide decided to be flexible and give everyone the option. Note: The tour does not include entrance fees to Archaeological Site or Kavala Fort. The trip to and from the Kavala was quite scenic. It was a good day

It was a full day, led by a super Guide.We wanted to visit Lydia's Baptistry and the Guide found us a taxi driver and visited that site and return to Archeological site of Phillipi and saw Pauls Prison etc..Then in Kavala went to St.Nickolas Church and mosaics outside and plenty of Pauline influence inside...Pauls first European landing great thrill...Beach was nice touch to relax ..A TRULY GREAT DAY

Kavala’s stunning views and Philippi’s impressive archaeological site make this trip worth visiting. However, the “swim” stop at a beach club came with extra charges and limited sunbeds, and visiting Philippi at 15:00 in peak summer heat made it hard to appreciate. An earlier visit would make the experience much better.

Great guide and driver. Well organized., Loved Phillipi and swimming but could skip Kavala. Would have liked seeing where Paula met Lydia.
