What To Expect
Tandem skydiving is an incredible experience, and at TTS, we are passionate about making your skydive a memory to remember. On arrival, you will go through the safety briefing and our available camera options, then get kitted up with all the equipment you need for a safe experience. Meet your experienced tandem master, and the adventure begins! First you'll enjoy a scenic plane ride up to 12,000ft, 15,000ft or 16,500ft (depending on the altitude option you choose). You’ll see incredible views of Lake Taupo, Mount Ruapehu and Mount Ngauruhoe – also known as Mount Doom from Lord of the Rings. Once you’ve reached altitude, the doors will open, you’ll sit on the edge of the plane with your tandem master seated behind you. After exiting the plane you will freefall at speeds of 200 kph! At 5,500 feet your tandem master will deploy the parachute and you can catch your breath while taking in the stunning views of the Lake Taupo area. Float back to earth with a relaxing parachute ride with your tandem master, arriving safe and soundly back at the drop zone. Once back on the ground it’s time for a high five and a hug. You did it!

5.00I had an incredible time skydiving, and my instructor, Prashant, made the whole experience exceptional. He was extremely knowledgeable and created a calm, safe environment from the very beginning. His instructions were clear and reassuring, which made the jump feel smooth and enjoyable. The combination of his professionalism, humour and confidence turned the skydive into something truly unforgettable. A fun and exhilarating experience. Highly recommend

5.00Honestly such a blast! I was blessed to go with 16 of my friends, and to be able to afford the 15000m dive. I was terrified before the plane took of, but my instructor was very gentle with me and was a le to give me more peace, so thanks to Dave Taylor!! He should get a pay rise. Also thanks to God for giving me the courage to do it. To anybody who hasn't gone, I would say go 100%. One of the best things I ever did. Thank you Taupo Tandem Skydiving!!!

5.00What an outfit of this world experience!! Definitely a must do when in Taupo. All the staff there are friendly and out your nerves at ease. My tandem master Dave was brilliant! He was extremely professional, and talked me through the whole experience. He did everything for me and all I needed to do was take in the stunning views! To finish off we were given a lift back to where we were staying too in there limo! 😄

5.00What an experience! I'd done it before so I knew what to expect but it was so much better. From the minute we were collected from our hotel to the minute we arrived back, everything was great. We didn't have to wait long in the reception area before we were being kitted up and asked to watch a brief training video. We were soon in the plane and flying up into the sky. My husband went first and I was second to go. By this time, the training had been repeated by my instructor twice again, before we jumped. Damien Malkin (Damo) was a first class instructor. I know he does it multiple times a day but he treated me with great enthusiasm anyway. He reassured me, explained everything and worked as a tour guide whilst we were floating down under the canopy, pointing out local attractions. When asked by his colleagues who my instructor was, when I said Damo, they all talked about him with such warmth too. If you want a fantastic experience, with great safety and efficient processes, a warm reception and good fun, then this is the place for you. Thanks Damo!

5.00Amazing experience all around! I really appreciated the pick up an drop off at my Airbnb. Nathan Purver was fantastic! He kept me answering questions and interacting with the camera which helped my mind not get stuck on the whole "I'm about to jump out of a plane" part, and made for a great video. Highly recommend!
