What To Expect
Tandem skydiving is an incredible experience, and at TTS, we are passionate about making your skydive a memory to remember. On arrival, you will go through the safety briefing and our available camera options, then get kitted up with all the equipment you need for a safe experience. Meet your experienced tandem master, and the adventure begins! First you'll enjoy a scenic plane ride up to 12,000ft, 15,000ft or 16,500ft (depending on the altitude option you choose). You’ll see incredible views of Lake Taupo, Mount Ruapehu and Mount Ngauruhoe – also known as Mount Doom from Lord of the Rings. Once you’ve reached altitude, the doors will open, you’ll sit on the edge of the plane with your tandem master seated behind you. After exiting the plane you will freefall at speeds of 200 kph! At 5,500 feet your tandem master will deploy the parachute and you can catch your breath while taking in the stunning views of the Lake Taupo area. Float back to earth with a relaxing parachute ride with your tandem master, arriving safe and soundly back at the drop zone. Once back on the ground it’s time for a high five and a hug. You did it!

5.00Was very nervous beforehand as my daughter booked me for my birthday and only told me about it on the day. It was a breathtaking experience and I would definately do it again. My instructor Damian was awesome and helped me relax and enjoy the experience.

Pumped me up and was super thorough with all the checks. Breathtaking views. Breathless fall haha. Every minute was worth it. Thanks Taupo tandem sky diving was awesome. Will be back soon!

5.00Best experience ever! Atmosphere is awesome since the beginning and the staff really supportive if you're a bit nervous... Nathan is the best tandem master I could be with for my first skydibing experience, so I would strongly reccomend this activity and company!

5.0050th birthday present from my kids who jumped as well. My second time, first time was with these guys 25 years ago :) We all had an amazing experience from arriving and being welcomed by the front desk team, the jump, the landing. My tandem was Prashant who was great, he made sure I had a memorable experience. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough, just do it !! You won’t regret it !!

5.00What an unforgettable experience! My tandem instructor, Prashant Kapoor, was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He explained everything clearly, kept the mood light and fun, and most importantly, made me feel completely safe the whole time. The plane ride up was filled with great energy and reassurance, and once we jumped, it was pure exhilaration! The freefall was incredible, and the parachute ride down was smooth with stunning views all around. The landing was perfect too. This was my very first skydive, and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Thanks to Prashant Kapoor, it went from something I was nervous about to one of the best experiences of my life. Highly recommend him to anyone considering a skydive!

The professionalism of the whole.outfit shocked me and then the individual employees were all terrific especially my dive partner Prashant Kapoor who was outstanding giving me points ters through the whole experience. 5.00This was SO much fun. Everyone working was super friendly and knowledgeable. They walked you through everything so thoroughly that I was not nervous at ALL the entire time. I bought the "Legend" media package- it's the most expensive one, but definitely worth it. They make you an awesome video (mine was 6 minutes long) and take hundreds of photos for you. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone. Gareth Hemingway was THE BEST!!!!! So funny and made the whole experience so much better than I could have imagined it would be. The views were awesome and I wanted to go again the second I landed.

5.00Unreal experience and great day…the team were great very professional and so nice! Had a great dive with Gareth A and Jamie filming the jump…they talk you through what is going to happen and the entire team make you feel at ease. The view over lake taupo are amazing aswell! 10/10 experience!
