Getting to experience how to make sushi firsthand was so much fun! I loved how interactive and hands-on the workshop was. I also learned a lot about the history of sushi and proper etiquette. If you love sushi, I’d 100% recommend this workshop! :)

As my first cooking class, I participated in this sushi making experience. Mr. Yamada's explanation was very easy to understand, and I enjoyed learning about the history of sushi, even as a Japanese. I highly recommend this experience!

It was such an amazing experience! As a half-Japanese person I knew a lot about Japanese culture going in, but Kate taught me so much about Sushi! It's way more complex than I first thought! Even though my sushi was kind of a disaster since I am a terrible cook. She is a great teacher and it was a lot of fun! Plus I got to eat some fresh sushi 😎

I went to an old house in Kawagoe for a sushi making class. The class was originally designed for foreign tourists, but as it turns out, it is very popular with Japanese people. I enjoyed making sushi! Now you can cook your own sushi and eat it even when you go back to the United States (kana).

I learned a lot about the history of sushi, how to make sushi rice, how to cut neta, and how to make nigiri sushi. I had a lot of fun being friendly and wanted to participate in the Ehomaki period again. Thank you very much.

Although I am Japanese, I had no idea to make nigiri sushi myself, so I will learn how to make vinegared rice, how to cut toppings, how to make nigiri sushi, etc., and I will review and make it at home immediately. It was also good to hear about the history of sushi. I would like to revisit it during Ehomaki season. Thank you very much.

I couldn't stop being excited as I walked through the streets of Kawagoe. I enjoyed listening to the history of sushi and all the things related to sushi in quiz form, and the procedure of making sushi also came naturally♪ I was also able to experience cutting off tuna and get a glimpse of the depth of its techniques and tools, and I was very satisfied with the way the sushi was made, even though it was my first time to do so. The table setting and the atmosphere of the old house at the venue were good, and it was a fun day 😊 Thank you very much.
