The event will take place at one of the best local vineyards in the recently named Independence Valley, Guanajuato, Mexico area. This territory is considered as the cradle of wine in America. The internationally award winning wine is exceptional and the staff is service oriented. The vineyard is surrounded by beautiful landscapes and the Chateau is large with grandiose architecture and filled with exquisite art. This tour includes 1 hour after your wine tasting to enjoy time in the restaurant or to explore the rest of the winery. The shop, the hotel, the church and many more attractions.

What To Expect
We will shuttle from San Miguel de Allende to visit one of the best local vineyards in Valle de La Independencia located approximately thirty minutes away. We will tour the beautiful winery inside and out with its unique personality, grandiose architecture, and majestic vistas. We will walk the fields and smell the essence of the vines and grapes (green seasons only spring & summer). Next we will explore the cellar where the wine is aged and you will learn all about the production process. At this point is when the fun really begins as we learn all about the wine and its structure when we participate in a tasting of wines and the association of delicious meats, cheeses and regional -made honey in a beautiful wine tasting room. You will learn each wine’s properties and how best to appreciate them. You will be amazed by the viniculture in this country & the history of wine in this region. Important: After the tour you will have 1 hour to continue your journey by staying to enjoy the vineyard's restaurant or/and explore the rest of the winery, its hotel, church, shop, also you can feel free to walk the grounds taking in the natural beauty of the landscape. ¡Welcome!

All the packages of the menu include a small tray with meats, olives, regional cheeses, local harvested honey, grapes and bread for the pairing.

The wine selections offered a wide variety, and our tour guide was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also showed true passion for the content, making us feel genuinely welcome. My husband and I decided to stay for lunch—which we highly recommend! The flavors, presentation, and service were all impeccable. Overall, we absolutely loved the experience and will be telling local friends and family visiting San Miguel to make a trip to this winery. A definite must!

5.00Driver (Angel?) showed up on time and professional. Winery was beautiful. After a comprehensive tour, we sat for our wine tastings. Marco at the winery had been out of university for a year and had studied in the industry. He provided detailed information about the area, property, winemaking and answered our questions. We had generous pours and repeats when finished. We each had our own charcuterie board with meats, cheeses, grapes, olives, breadstick, and raw honey. We chose not to do the extra walking around on our own or to sit for lunch, so he called the driver who came to pick us up within 15 minutes. We purchased a few bottles of wine from the store and also ordered a cocktail to enjoy on the patio. We started the experience at exactly 12:30 PM and got back to our hotel by 3:30 PM. We were picked up at the location, which was a 6 minute walk from our hotel. And on the way back, we asked the driver if he could drop us to directly to the hotel and he was happy to do so.

5.00My boyfriend and I booked this tour in August and so glad we did! We booked a 2:00 slot and no one else did so we actually got a private tour. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. And he made sure we got plenty of photos. The wine pairings were delicious. We chose the 5 wine tasting and that was the perfect amount. I had never taken a vineyard tour before and this was a great one to be the first! Highly recommend. Would book again.

4.00Our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable. The wines were very good to excellent. The facility was beautiful. It would have been nicer if it was later in the season as the vines had no growth, but that will happen in the spring. We recommend this place.
