We booked the hop on hop off tour for the yellow route and the blue route. Yellow route was fantastic that took in all the major sites. Changed buses for the blue tour. Disaster! Waited over an hour on Piccadilly stop G no bus came. Rang Tootbus who said 2 buses had gone past. No they hadn’t. Bus came at 15.10 for a 2 hour tour. There are 25 stops. At stop 18 it was 16.50. Driver told everyone to get off the bus the tour was terminating. Not even halfway through tour. No refund and had to find our own way back. Driver must have known when we boarded the bus that it wasn’t returning. I’d never use them again. There were old people, disabled and foreign visitors all forced to get off and find own way. Disgusting service. Don’t recommend it at all

Terrible!!!! We are on this tour now and the bus driver didn’t tell us we needed headphones to hear the commentary then when a kind guest told us, most of the sound was music, not information about what we were passing! Pic another company.

I bus tour everywhere I visit and ive bus toured London many times, the routes are much of a muchness no matter which company you pic but the recorded commentary on this one is the worst.

Feel really let down, commentary very poor, expensive £180 00 for 4 people for 3 days. Could be live commentary would of been nice. More music than info. Cruise was brilliant with live commentary by Lee that bit was excellent. But would never do bus again. Really ruined my experience of london.

We purchased our tickets from a street seller, but he didn’t mention that in winter the blue route only runs every half hour. Several people at the bus stop seemed confused while waiting for the blue bus. When I asked a Tootbus staff member about the timing, he answered abruptly and rudely, saying he didn’t know as he had only just arrived. Another lady nearby said she had never been informed about the winter schedule, and he responded that this is why you should buy tickets directly, but we had bought our tickets directly. The journey itself was disappointing. The audio commentary didn’t line up with the sights we were passing, and although headphones are available as you board, no one informs you to collect them, so don’t forget to grab a pair. The bus also wasn’t very clean. At around £96 for two adults and one child (which included a river cruise we haven’t done yet), I honestly wish we had gone on one of the “experience” buses instead. We traveled the blue route, and I didn’t find anything particularly exciting until we reached Buckingham Palace. Overall, the combination of poor communication, rude staff, confusing winter schedules, and an underwhelming tour makes this a service I wouldn’t recommend in its current form.
