Your safety is our priority. When the conditions are not favorable, due to wind, high waves, or a tropical storm, we offer to change the day of your reservation or make a refund.

My wife and I had a great time on this kayak trip! Emilio was a fantastic guide, and he did a great job at instructing and then letting us go for it! Without a doubt, his focus was on those participating, which made our experience comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed this, and would recommend!

We booked the Los Cabos Arch and Playa del Amor Glass Bottom Kayak Tour with High Tide Los Cabos through Viator while visiting on a cruise with just half a day to explore—and it was absolutely worth it! Kayaking out to the iconic arch gave us a much more immersive and exciting experience compared to the crowds just viewing it from boats. We stopped at a stunning beach for some cliff jumping, which was a blast, and followed it up with some snorkeling. While the snorkeling was a bit busy with people, we still got to swim up close to a seal, which was a highlight. Huge shoutout to our guides Marco and Josjuan —they were friendly, fun, and really made the tour enjoyable.

I was slightly skeptical being we were coming in on cruise ship if this would work for us. We were in Cabo for two days. The time would have been difficult the first day as morning debark would have been too late for morning tour and afternoon tour would have been cutting it tight to get back on the ship on time. However, the second day was perfect. We were able to get off the ship right away (about half hour from when we boarded the tender to the meeting location: 10 minutes loading, 10 minutes ride, 10 minutes to walk to meeting location). The meeting location directions were a bit tricky to figure out (we couldn't find the referenced sign). The street vendors were very friendly though and asked what we were looking for. They knew right away and gave us instructions (They said the sign was removed because that doesn't exist anymore but the spot is still the same. Turn right in front of Senior Frogs towards the tall trees and walk to the back parking lot. They will be out there with a white van). We got to the meeting spot a bit early and there was another guide for a snorkeling tour for same company. He called the guys for our tour to let them know we were there and they arrived shortly after (still earlier than our scheduled time). Our tour was with two other families (12 people total). It was a short ride to the beach. Pedro and Javier (our guides) provided us with fins, life vests (actual and very buoyant (I tested it out); not the blow up ones like some tours use), oars, etc and we split into pairs of two for the kayaks (our family and one other had odd numbers so I shared a kayak with someone not in our family). We were able to leave our shoes, towels, etc in the van which was "locked and parked in secure location". They gave us instruction so we would know the basics of what we would be doing. They helped everyone into the water and then one was in lead and one was at the rear of the group. We paddled to Pelican Rock (where we would be snorkeling later). Took a small break to watch the sea lions. Then continued on to the arch. We took photos and hung out there awhile. Then we went back to Lover's Beach. We went to shore. There was a small cliff diving rock, plenty of beach even though it was spring break when we were there. You could walk down the beach on the other side too towards Divorce Beach if you liked. After some time there, we loaded back into the kayaks and went back to Pelican Rock for snorkeling. Life vests were optional so you could use them if you wished or free swim/dive if you preferred. When we got there, we were given our snorkeling masks. Typically we bring our own but we decided not to this time. The masks that they provide are pretty good. The glass stayed clear the whole time and the mouthpiece was comfortable and worked well. I was expecting to be too cold being I opted not to use wetsuit but I was able to stay out about 20 minutes before getting chilled (first week in April). There isn't really much other than rocks and sand (no corals and minimal plants) but there were plenty of fish and clarity was good. One of the guides was out on the water with paddleboard to keep an eye on everyone and be readily available should anyone need assistance and the other stayed on shore to watch items and provide water and snacks. It was one of the calmer areas that we have snorkeled in (several Hawaiian and Caribbean islands + Belize + continental US). Pedro said that we did have a good day and mornings are generally more calm than afternoons. When we were done snorkeling, Javier collected all the snorkeling gear and he carried all that back for us. They helped us back in the kayaks and we went back to shore. They retrieved the van so that could get our things. The only negative was my fault; I forgot cash on the ship for a tip so had to hit an ATM ($20 fee to get cash but it was very near the drop off point so easy to get to). Based on our experience, I would highly recommend this tour.

Loved this activity. The guides were so helpful and kind. The arch and playa de amor are so beautiful. A very nice way to get a workout in on vacation.
