On this full-day tour, you will visit one of the most spectacular and less visited slot canyons in the Southwest. The day begins with a scenic drive up Oak Creek Canyon (from Sedona) followed by views of Arizona’s highest mountain peaks. Your guide will share stories about the area’s history and geology along the way. Travel across the vast Navajo Nation and learn about the people and their land. Stop at Historic Cameron Trading Post with its extensive selection of souvenirs and Native American arts.
Mid-morning, you’ll have an opportunity to hike to the spectacular Horseshoe Bend overlook (1.5 mi / 2.4 km r/t) where the Colorado River meanders far below. Afterward, enjoy an included lunch followed by views of Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell. The highlight of the trip is a 1-mile Navajo guided visit into Lower Antelope Canyon. Descend into the canyon via a series of steel staircases and walkways and then wind through narrow passageways as you learn about the area from your guide.

Great experience walking the canyon. Very long car ride from Sedona - a solid three hours each way. Our guide also stopped at Horseshoe bend in Paige, AZ on the way, definitely worthwhile.

What an incredible experience! From pick up in Sedona all the way to Antelope Canyon, Kurt kept us entertained, informed and happy. The scenery is breathtaking! Antelope Canyon was gorgeous — just be prepared to walk down some steep steps and shimmy through some narrow turns. The guides there were wonderful and helpful. I highly recommend this tour!
