Welcoming guests to Kauai since 2007, Luau Kalamaku is Hawaii's only luau show performed “in-the-round,” offering optimal views of the stage. Witness the unearthing of the pig from the traditional imu (underground oven) and enjoy a hula lesson. A craft fair featuring unique items by local artisans awaits on the sprawling lawn. Feast on a delicious buffet of local and familiar favorites and enjoy a Mai Tai from the open bar. We had a great time! This was our first time going to a Luau, so we didn't know really what to expect. Every single staff member was friendly and polite. We got checked in and made our way to the entrance quickly. We posed for photos before entering the covered venue. There were also artisan vendors set up so we could do a little shopping. We were ushered to our table and informed of the open bar hours. The Blue Hawaiian drink was delicious! We were given a hula lesson before dinner. The buffet was surprisingly good. We were served pork, chicken, fish, veggies, rice, noodles, fruit, dessert, and coffee. Everything was flavorful and there was plenty for everyone attending. The show itself was very entertaining. I loved every minute of it! It was beautiful, exciting and told a wonderful story.

The staff was so nice and the show was awesome! The food was great, the open bar had great cocktail choices (beer choices were very limited). Definitely would recommend this.

It was a good experience to see a luau performance stage in the center of the large dining area. The staff were friendly and dressed for the occasion! Most of our group liked the food- but some did not, mostly because they don’t like fish. The vendors to peruse before the luau sold nice items. We loved our family picture from the luau and thought the purchase price was reasonable. It’s a family friendly activity and part of the Hawaiian experience.

Exceptional dinner theater show! They greet you with a fresh lei and there are nice vendors to see and buy a souvenir from. Drinks are included and a fantastic dinner buffet! The theater show was very professional and told their cultural story well! Great for kids too. Highly recommended!

Luau takes place in expansive covered open air pavilion. Central stage, good visibility. Buffet was reasonably good with local fish dish, shredded pork, barbecued chicken breast, green and macaroni salads, papaya, nice desserts. Plentiful free drinks. Program told the story of migration from Tahiti to Hawaii with impressive dances and singing, multiple lovely costumes. Have attended past luaus on Maui and big island; this one was the most complete experience and most engaging. The best.

A very good Luau, one of the great ones on the island. If you go to Kauai, you have to do a luau, this one should be the one!

The show was excellent; the food not so much. We bought tickets in the"Gold section," which consisted of seats close to stage and early eating. Cost lacked value-too expensive for the actual Experience,
