This tour is in scenic downtown Ketchikan in the Thomas Basin historic district, home to the Salmon Fishing Fleet and Crab Fishing Boats. You will be hosted at the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show Arena and Harbor Haus Pavilion, landmarks of industry, food, and entertainment. Your tour starts at the historic site of the Spruce Mill, once the largest Sitka Spruce Mill in the World and now the home to the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show. This world-famous Lumberjack Show has World Champion athletes in a rowdy, no holds barred competition with twelve events such as chopping, climbing, sawing, axe throwing, and log rolling. Hang on to the edge of your seats for a rowdy good time! Just a few steps away, the Harbor Haus will be your destination to experience the most pristine Dungeness Crab feast. Enjoy an all you can eat Dungeness Crab feast!

What To Expect

Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show

Get all your rowdy friends together and join in the Alaskan axe-tion in this amazing competition of skill and strength. The Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show reflects upon southeast Alaska’s rich logging history and comes to life with thrilling displays of strength and agility. These world champion athletes wearing spiked boots & hard hats compete in 12 athletic events that utilize seven-pound axes, six-foot razor sharp saws, tree climbing gaffs, and souped up chainsaws. Your cheers will turn to roars of excitement as axes fly through the air, men free fall from tall trees, and then run atop spinning logs floating in the water. The show is held in a covered, heated, and cushioned grandstand that includes a rustic lodge gift shop and full concession. This will be one hour of action, excitement, and laughs that is unique to all of Alaska.

All-You-Can-Eat Dungeness Crab Feast! The Harbor Haus will be your destination to experience the most pristine Dungeness Crab feast. While looking out over the harbor filled with commercial fishing boats, watch as the daily catch is brought to the docks. Your meal includes salad with Asian style dressing, all-you-can-eat Dungeness Crab, baby red potatoes, and delicious carrot cake! After the meal, you are within downtown Ketchikan, surrounded by totem poles, Creek Street, jumping salmon and shopping.

This was a great experience! The show was a lot of fun and sometimes hilarious! The crab feast was just that! A feast of delicious and sweet dungeness crab that just kept coming!

Being a good a novice at this type of activity I was impressed with the muscle and the skill it took to be a lumberjack. And you made it funny and entertaining. It’s a great value!

The show was very entertaining and fun. The crab feast was unlimited! Kaylee was an excellent server. If you leave hungry, it’s your own fault. The boiled potatoes were delicious! Had a great flavor; which you don’t find that very often. Would highly recommend!! We were on team Canada…we won! Go Danny!!
Rain cancelation. Wished we had booked on our ship though.

Can’t rate well because of weather rain cancelation. However had we booked with Regent, we would have gotten to go to George inlet lodge and been able to still enjoy the crab fest as offered.

The lumberjack show was good. Corny sometimes, but entertaining. Do not sign up for the crab dinner. The dungeness crab was flavorless. Don't think it was the restraints fault...dungeness is just not that good.

The crab was terrible it was overcooked, served warm, she’ll not full and wasn’t sweet at all. Service was great and rest of the meal was good but went for the crab ☹️ Lumberjack show was ok They did a good job for what it was They covered a lot of different things Each event was short and had limited space Was a bit corny but family friendly.

Had a wonderful time. The show was a fun experience, full of good humor and sharing on Lumberjack history and activities. Would definitely recommend catching this show. The crab feast was also excellent. While, I wasn't a fan of the salad, I definitely appreciated the demonstration on how to shell the crabs before eating them. The two servers did an excellent job taking care of the room full of people. The whole experience was definitely a highlight!
