We really enjoyed our day trip to Morocco. Ali as very helpful (even advising us to change the day of our trip so we could avoid being there when the cruise ship was in port) and provided helpful and clear instructions prior to our trip. He arranged for our driver to and from Malaga - Aisaam was great - right on time, helped us fill out the customs forms prior to our ferry and was waiting for us when we returned. Hassan (aka Coca Cola) was our guide for the day. He is super knowledgeable and was able to make the day interesting and engaging for our 12 yr old son. That’s a win in my book! We saw, learned and ate a lot! The camel ride on the beach was everyone’s favorite, followed by the time we spent waking around the old Medina. Everyone seems to know Coca Cola, we got to see some extra little cafes and views because of this. The rug buying experience was unlike anything we had experienced and he helped us get a good deal on a couple beautiful rugs. It’s a long day but well worth the time and money. Everything was smooth and we felt totally taken care of! Special thanks to Coca Cola for taking such great care of us and keeping our son engaged and interested!

We just completed our day-trip to Tangier. Although the trips usually start in Malaga, we arranged to be picked in Alhaurin el Grande, which was very helpful. Our driver Aissam was waiting at the pick-up point when we arrived. The ride to Tarrifa was safe and efficient. There was a stop near Gibraltar for coffee and a quick bite, before being dropped at the entry of the ferry across the straights. If you not used the ferry before, I will offer this pro tip - once you board, go immediately to the passport control sign and get in line. There is some paperwork that has to be processed before arrival in Tagier, and the line fills up fast. We were met in Tangier at the ferry arrivals door by our guide Ali and driver Akmed. The tour content was great for first-time visitors to the country and the continent. Ali provides tons of local cultural info, along with ton of history, including the various peoples who migrated or fled to Tangier over the centuries. The breakfast and lunch stops included delicious and authentic Morrocan foods at clean, friendly restaurants. The stops at Hercule's cave and the markets were a couple of our favorites. Beware of Muhammed in the carpet shop though! If you're not careful, you could go home with a couple of hand tied carpets (shipped free to your home address duty-free). In the end, it was a great way to spend a day of our vacation in Spain, and check off another continent from our travel goals. Dan WI, USA

Do not let the cost of the tour intimidate you. After we rationalized that we (2 women) were not comfortable taking on touring Morocco on our own we signed up for it. We were picked up at the front door of our apartment in Malaga and driven by private van to Tarifa (the port for the ferry to Tangier) and were met in Tangier by our endearing tour guide, Ali. Throughout the whole day we never felt our safety was challenged. The rest of the day was completely arranged and handled by him. Ali narrated historic facts about everywhere we toured. We were immersed in local architecture, fabulous meals, a camel ride, cave tour, escorted to Berber markets and rug maker. I left feeling I had truly experienced the flavor of Tangier. But, be aware that if you arrive in Tangier from Spain (where the spirit of tipping is minimal) that spirit does not carry over to Morocco. We later were advised that tipping in Morocco is similar to the United States and were embarrassed that we came unprepared to tip appropriately. If given the opportunity we will definitely return to tour more of Tangier with Ali and with additional cash to tip.

Due to the relatively low number of prior reviews, my wife and I took a chance on this luxury day trip to Tangier from Malaga. I’m glad we did. It far exceeded our expectations. The personal treatment was tremendous. The communication was great. We were contacted by the tour owner through WhatsApp a couple of days prior to our trip. He asked us if there was anything that we were looking to do in addition what was outlined on the tour highlights. He also forwarded us a PDF of our ferry tickets. On the morning of our adventure, we were promptly greeted by our driver at our hotel in Malaga. He was very enthusiastic. We stopped along the way for a quick coffee stop. The ferry transfer was easy. As a reminder, you’ll need to bring your passport. You’ll have it stamped once at the ferry terminal, and then again aboard the ferry. One tip while aboard the ferry, people immediately lined up to have their passport stamped. I would recommend getting it stamped midway through the trip after the line has shortened. In Morocco, we were greeted by Hassan, aka Coco Cola, who was holding a sign with our name on it. We also had a friendly personal driver for our time in Morocco. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide in Coco Cola. He was super knowledgeable about Morocco and sprinkled in a few surprises throughout our tour. He made us feel safe in an unfamiliar country. If you book this trip, I would highly recommend requesting Coco Cola. The highlight of the day was riding a camel along the shore of the Mediterranean Sea.
