This was a wonderful tour that showed us incredible sites of the Madgascar countryside. Such beautiful landscape. The tourists well organized and we got to see so much of the country, whichbwas very different in the different regions. Our fldrjver Tsiry was the absolute best! So kind, friendly and welcoming. Always focused on ensuring we had the best experience possible! Be aware that the road infrastructure in Madgascar is poor, but worth going to see the sites and learn the culture of the beautiful people! I definitely recommend this tour!

I saw 9 species of lemurs, rainforest, tiny tree frogs, chameleons and Baibabs at sunset. Also visited charming fishing village to see authentic way of life. The drivers were very friendly and ubflappable. Be prepared for long days of driving on rough roads as the infrastructure to get from one site to another is not yet well established.

Day, 1 . The company was supposed to pick me up at 8:00 am. No one showed up. I called the FUSO company. They told me the driver was sick. Finally they sent a driver at 2,00 pm. Who was not very happy about the situation. He was very rude and disrespectful towards me. He will not answer my questions?

“Super Driver,” Ansta from Fosa Travel was Five Stars! His Driving skills, knowledge of Madagascar and consistent attention to my needs was unmatched! For seven days Antsa blazed the trail through the peaks and valleys of Madagascar with pure comfort and precision. He understood the roads to travel sans GPS and the roads were pretty worn. Antsa’s knowledge of Madagascar was a welcome addition. There was not a single unanswered question. The picture of Madagascar he painted for me will last a lifetime. The small coffee and fruit breaks in the villages made me feel as though I was a part of the culture. (If I may suggest, take bags of treats for the kids during your tours. They will love it! ) Antsa’s attention to my needs were precise. He utilized the best guides who were able to meet my thirst for knowledge when visiting the Lemur, Fishing Village and Rickshaw ride. They spoken English and were enthusiastic. He was also adept at modifying and adjusting the schedule and mediating issues as necessary. Madagascar through his delight for the country was conveyed to me in an upbeat and professional manner. Kudos to Fosa Travel and Antsa on a well-designed and delivered itinerary!

  • Itinerary changed and disappointed

Itinerary changed. The domestic flight listed as part of the package got cancelled a day before the travel date. Tsingy as listed is also cancelled a day before travel date. Booked on 13 for 22 nov tours but it failed to deliver as per the itinerary. Hope it can be done with transparency and manage the expectations of the traveller. was asked to sit 4 days car in transit from Tana to Morondava for a 7 days tour. Luckily they manage to find us a one way ticket so instead of 4 days it became 2 days… while flight took only 1 hour. Was blamed to sign up the tour last mins while term n condition stated 7 days in advance and have emphasised that we wana take the domestic flight before booking. My husband took about 16 hours flight to go Madagascar and I feel bad for him that we could not take the return domestic flight and miss to see the Tsingy as we both was so looking forwards to it. The itinerary was replaced by two addition waterfall and lake which are honestly not what we want and nothing to great about it

  • Experience Madagascar's diversity

We booked the 7-day Baobabs and Lemurs Tour from Fosa Travel and were very happy with the program. You get a great insight into the diversity of Madagascar in a short time. Yes, the roads are in a different condition to what you might be used to in Europe, but they are not so bad that you can't get through the days of driving. Only the drive from Antsirabe to Morondava is a really tiring and long day of driving. We had great guides in Andasibe and Morondava. Our driver Coco was fine, but we would have liked a bit more information about Madagascar or the individual excursion points. We would have been very interested in learning a lot about Madagascar, but he mostly didn't understand our questions at all or he simply didn't know the answer. It's a shame when you know so little about your own country and therefore can't pass it on. English could definitely be improved too. The accommodations we stayed in were a bit too luxurious for our taste. Especially when you see how modestly the majority of the population lives, you really don't need to stay in such hotel castles, even as a tourist. We would have also liked some information about tips and how much is appropriate for whom. Unfortunately, we didn't get any information about this, even after asking several times. You should also be aware of the fact that the drivers expect you to pay for their food and drink if you sit together at the table. We were happy to pay for a few of their meals, but unfortunately we didn't get a "thank you" from the drivers, as you are used to in Europe. In summary, we were happy with the tour and we would recommend it if, like us, you decide to travel to Madagascar at very short notice and don't have enough time to plan your own stops and means of transport. Or if you have very little time and want to see the highlights of Madagascar.

In Apasindava I stayed at the Ravinala Club, which is definitely the best house in the area in the middle of this very simple village. Palm leaf roof, double bed with mosquito net, simple half-tiled bas with a sit-down toilet, sink and cold shower. A piece of paradise. The contact with the local population grows daily and provides interesting insights. Breakfast is served in the guesthouse opposite.

My wife and I had nine days to visit the country and fosa travel could organise it so that we could see the maximum in this short period. Their nine days tour is hard with many hours in the car, but we saw many lemurs, chameleons, baobabs, local villages and much more. They fulfilled the promises they made and were a hundred percent correct in the price and all it included. They chose very good hotels and we were brought to good restaurants. Roger, the guide and very skillful driver, had an answer to every question I put. His knowledge of animals and plants is admirable, but also he knows everything about Madagascar history and society. It was a no worries tour.
