*The visit to Atarazanas Market is only included in the daytime class from Monday to Saturday, as it is closed in the evenings and Sundays. Additionally, the market is closed on certain holidays (1/1, 6/1, 28/2, Thursday and Friday of Holy Week, 1/5, 15/8, 19/8, 8/9, 12/10, 1/11, 6/12, 8/12, 25/12).The evening and Sunday class lasts 3 h. Before getting started with the cooking workshop, we visit our buzzing Atarazanas Market* to discover the best seasonal and local produce. Just a 5 minutes’ stroll away from the market, in the Art District (SOHO), our modern and big kitchen is located. A welcoming place to feel just like at home. There you’ll enjoy tapas from the first moment on with an Extra Virgin Olive Oil Tasting of different local and award-winning olive oils, and our famous Aloreña olives. Our team will teach you then how to cook traditional recipes, “classics” of our (Spanish, Andalusian and even Malagueña) gastronomy, to get one step closer to enjoy the experience and custom of “tapear”. To accompany all of these tidbits, we selected an excellent wine of our region elaborated with local grapes.

We did this tapas workshop and the total group was a bit large with 14 people, have to say that would have enjoyed more on a smaller group, but we learned how to do a proper Tortilla de Patatas, Fideos with seafood, Churros, Gambas pil pil and a meat stew with sweet wine sauce and Sangria - and we got a Market tour. Great outcome for hubby and I and we will try the techniques out at home! Please send us the recipes 🙏

We had a great time learning how to make tapas and sangria. Alba was an awesome instructor. The facility is super clean and modern with all the needed supplies. The wine flowed freely and we got to meet and interact with people from Switzerland, Lithuana, and the US. Worth every penny!

We did this cooking class with our kids (11 and 13yrs) and it was great. I liked the combination of touring the market and learning about the regional foods from the area. Anaïs was such a great guide. She was both informative and fun! The cooking portion wasn’t very complex but a great way to enjoy a meal.

We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this cooking class. My girlfriend and I joined this cooking class to learn how to prepare various types of tapas but we recieved much more - we learned about various types of olive oils, the history of Malaga, recipes that we can make at home (and have), a really awesome and informative tour of the local market. In short, we had an great time and would highly recommend this trip to others. You were a great hostess Elise and thank you chef for your helping us create nice dishes and accommodating a vegetarian so last minute :) Bo and Bella

We started this fantastic trip at the market, which is one of the very best in the world. Our knowledgeable guide taught us many things about Spanish food and we tasted several things in the market. Next we went to the cooking school and met the chef who would teach us. The group was fairly small and we had hands on experience making each dish. At the end we sat down and ate together. It was great fun AND delicious!!!
