I book this cooking class as it was in the city and easy to get to. With Two 16 year old boys, I was a bit worried they get bored, but they had a great time and totally enjoyed the classes. Looking for a fun activity to do with friends or family would recommend this cooking class

This is such a fantastic experience and a must for everyone visiting Malaysia! My friends and I have spent a few weeks in Malaysia and knowing how fantastic the food is, we wanted a memorable experience and to be able to take the dishes back with us. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by rene and her family who let us start early and then showed us how to make 3 superb dishes including nasi lamek and chai. Everything ran so smoothly, Renee was a fantastic teacher, helpful and patient and very knowledgeable. The set up is very pretty and it’s lovely seeing her mum in the background. We had plenty of time to do the activity and also to enjoy our food warm. We were presented with a certificate at the end and a gift purse which is a lovely touch. This was a lovely way to end our trip and highly recommend for all to give it a go!

An incredible morning cooking Nasi Lamek and learning the skills required for Onde Onde. Truly the best with kind staff and options for those who don’t love it spicy and those that do. Finished off with a dining experience where our group truly bonded. Course completed and we’ve got the certificates to prove it!!

It was an amazing experience learning to cook Indian-Malay food from a very experienced teacher Renee. She taught my wife and I all about the spices and ingredients that would be used in the three dishes we were to cook. We were lucky enough that it was only my wife and I in attendance that day so we received a very personal experience we'll never forget.

This class was amazing. I learned so much about the Indian Malaysian cooking also spices. Made Pakora, chicken curry, masala chai and the sweets Kesari. Everything is delicious and you can get the beautiful PDF recipes. If you want to learn about the spices and curry, highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time at our cooking class. Renee was very knowledgeable and went through all the spices as well as sharing the recipes. She was kind, didn’t rush us and made us feel very comfortable. Would highly recommend this class to anyone coming to Kuala Lumpur, no matter their cooking abilities. Don’t eat lunch before you come as you get to enjoy large portions!!

My wife and I have attended a number of cooking classes in various parts of the world and Rene’s gets the gold! She is very knowledgeable and conveys this knowledge clearly and with a joyous enthusiasm. Then there is the layout of the facility - dedicated areas for prep, cooking and enjoying your creation. We loved how we got to sit down in the “restaurant” after each course to savour our freshly created dish. And when you return to your prep station for the next round, it is spotless and everything is laid out, ready for your next attempt. And same again with your cooking station and back at your table. Very professional! If we lived in KL, we would be regulars. Highly recommended!

Class was supposed to be a three-hour experience. It lasted less than two hours. Prepared only one simple dish, something traditionally eaten daily for any meal. We sautéed some onions and added some seasonings. The instructor prepared the side condiments in advance. Did not learn anything new. I was very disappointed in the experience.
