Absolutely fantastic! Totally recommend this tour. We have done other waterfall tours and this is by far the best we have been on! There were only two of us, but we were taken care of by the very friendly driver Damien and waterfall guide Nick. We were not rushed at all (unlike others). He took his time with us, was friendly and informative and went at our pace, taking numerous photos along the way. Also rubbed us with limestone mud. Water was so clean and refreshing (not cold). Fabulous lunch afterwards (included) - we had steamed trout which was delicious. Only downside is the expensive price for water shoes ($7 to rent or $18 to buy) and $20 for a bag of limestone grit/powder. Of course you don't have to buy either, but it is a bit of a tourist rip off. Oh, and restrooms really could do with a revamp/update - literally just a toilet in a shed, no water taps or paper! Don't let these little things put you off though - if you do any waterfall tours - try this one!

Forget Dunn’s Falls! For an authentic true experience of falls in the most amazing location Mayfield Falls is a must do in Jamaica. We spent the most fantastic day with our truly amazing guide Dennis. Dennis has decades of experience and ensures your safety throughout the traverse through the falls. It seemed like he knew every rock in the water and ensured you felt safe and secure and that you only took the route you felt comfortable with and wanted to take (faster rapid waters or slower streams) He even took some great photos of us both which we will treasure for ever. This was a day like no other untouched by commerciality a day surrounded by the true beauty of this country’s rain forest and falls and filled with experienced passionate people. Dennis also talked us through the plants and fruits walking back to the main site which was brilliant. Giving us a taste of the coffee bean fruits and natures “soap” for us to wash in! This was following a natural minerals scrub in the river! I cannot recommend this enough. This day will stay with us forever. ♥️ Thankyou Dennis and the team for an amazing day xx

Yesterday we experienced the Mayfield mineral water falls. We were greated with a warm welcome from the staff on the day. Our guide was Dave and let me tell you he gave us one of the most amazing experiences on the falls. We felt safe and reassured by his guidance he had exceptional knowledgeable about the path we had to take and his instructions were on point. Both an exceptional and enjoyable experience. Dave even managed to take some treasurable photos for us on our journey This has been an experience one I will never forget. Thank you Dave big up yourself.x

Had a great experience at Mayfield, Kimarley was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and helped both me and my boy in difficult situations on the water fall, he also took great photos and videos for us. I would highly recommend visiting this tourist attraction in Jamaica. Memories we’ll treasure for life!!

We visited Mayfield Falls and did the tour which was going into some of the Falls. Our family group consisted of ages 2-72. For us elders it was quite rugged. The teens and their parents were able to traverse the very rugged terrain and falls much easier than us. Thankfully the young men who were our guides were not only experts but extremely patient with us. Our guide Kimarly was the best! He guide us up and down the steep and slippery hills with ease. One of the other guides that went further into to the falls with the rest of the family carried the 2 year old the entire trip through the falls and rainforest. This is not for people with knee or walking problems, but it is so beautiful I am happy we were able to see some of the Falls. Hopefully the owners of the Falls will be able to make some of it easier to see in the near future. Hats off to the guides who only work for tips as they made it possible for all of us to see a beautiful part Jamaica!

These falls are absolutely beautiful. Skip YS and Dunn’s River if you want a real authentic experience in nature amongst the locals - no ziplines and no crowds. We basically had the whole falls to ourselves. It really felt like we were in the middle of the jungle. You miss out on the best experience this place offers if you don’t have Zukie as your guide, he is the BEST. A real Rasta man, he showed us his dreads and they went down to the floor! He is so knowledgeable about the falls and the jungle and he kept us entertained the entire time with his singing, he has a truly calming aura - I was a bit nervous about the deeper waters but he doesn’t pressure you to do anything you don’t feel comfortable with. You can feel how much love he has for the falls and his home country of Jamaica. We had the best experience with Zukie. Mayfield Falls is well worth the 90 minute journey from Negril…though be warned the roads are very bad and people who suffer from motion sickness will need to prepare in the best way they can! I felt sick the entire journey in but it was WELL worth it for the amazing day that we had here. Beautiful place, friendly locals and good food!!!

Beautiful falls, great walk through the river, multiple falls, and jungle. Our river guide, Kimarley, was great - fun, patient, low key, provided great info along tour. Be prepared for a great workout in the cool river water for the majority of the experience. The included lunch was delicious—my curry chicken was made with wild turmeric growing on the property. Seems like a family run business, all those at property were friendly and welcoming—including the domino players! Treacherous 90 minute drive from Negril due to road conditions, so be prepared if you’re prone to car sickness. Our driver Damien was familiar and knew when to slow down and when to hit the gas. Overall, highly recommended if you want a natural excursion away from the beach and tour group crowds.

What an adventure the Mayfields are having. It is a succession of waterfalls in the middle of the rainforest. There is something for everyone, rocks to jump on, natural jacuzzis to relax on, natural slides to have fun. The water is refreshing without being too cold and all in a magical setting. A great time with the family. On the way back we were waiting for a meal ordered at the beginning of the excursion, to get full after the whole adventure! Admission is approximately $20 per adult. The rental of the river slippers is $7. River shoes are indispensable. Our guide Dave was at the top! He has a communicative smile and knows the place like his pocket. In addition to being a great guide with a catching positive energy, he was a great paparazzi! He puts confidence throughout the ride. We highly recommend it!
