I completed a 9-day guided tour in Morocco with Hamza, and the experience was very positive. Throughout the trip, Hamza provided clear information about each location, explained cultural and historical details, and ensured the schedule ran smoothly. The tour helped broaden my understanding of Moroccan culture, and I gained perspectives I did not have before. All logistics were handled efficiently, and the itinerary covered a wide range of regions, which allowed me to see different parts of the country. Hamza was consistently organized, attentive, and professional. I appreciated the effort put into making the experience comfortable and informative. Based on my experience, I recommend Hamza as a guide for anyone considering a tour in Morocco.

The 3-day tour with Hamza was unforgettable. In addition to the beautiful places, Hamza is engaging, patient, tells you about real Moroccan life, customs and traditions, smiling and making you feel at home. It was very pleasant to share this trip with him. He listens to your needs and adapts the itinerary accordingly, without constraints but always offering alternatives. Thanks to him, I want to return to Morocco soon! Thank you, Hamza, it was wonderful!

Hamza, ( being our 9 day private tour guide for the 4 of us) and his driver Issam performed an outstanding job of totally immersing us in his beautiful country of Morocco , both geographically as far as all the great sights and most importantly to us, the culture of which they are most proud. He was totally flexible and accommodating to all of our needs, and he is basically family now! LOL. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants a true and authentic Moroccan experience!

Hamza, our guide, was outstanding. We are recommending him to all our friends and family. He personalized our tour to include the aspects that were most important to us which included authentic interaction with Moroccan people, places, culture, and foods, rather than just all the tourist traps. He was so knowledgeable about every subject we asked him about, took care of our every need from the mundane of exchanging cash to arranging a special birthday party surprise for one person in our group being serenaded by a Berber band in traditional attire. We experienced Morocco from the amazing desert jeep and camel ride into the sunset and staying overnight in an outstanding desert camp, a wonderful hike in the Atlas mountains, visiting a Berber camp and experiencing 2 types of local music, driving through miles of olive groves, wonderful farming country, stopping at local cooperatives for spices and essential oils, the amazing tannery, the souks, the historic sites we wished to visit. It was the trip of a lifetime! The Moroccan people as so hospitable, it was safe, very affordable, and our travel and accommodations were great. Hamza made it an unforgettable experience.

  • A Dream Come True

I have dreamt of visiting Morocco for 31 years and without Hamza my visit would have been an overwhelming, touristy experience. Hamza showed us the true Morocco with a visit to the home of a weaver woman who had been practicing her craft for fifty years while living in a city nearly a thousand years old, a meal with Berbers in the Dades Gorge before having a local guide lead us through the Monkey Fingers, and time with a Berber woman and her young son while she cooked a meal in a wood burning oven the way it has been cooked for hundreds of years. In the desert, he arranged a ride through the dunes in a jeep that had us laughing with glee and a sunset ride on camels to a Berber camp beneath a full moon. Since this trip was a celebration of my birthday, Hamza arranged for a surprise cake to be at the camp and had the musicians play Happy Birthday and the dancers lead me in a birthday celebration dance. Hamza continually chose amazing accommodations, each unique and each a feast for the eyes. The breakfasts—which were included with the accommodations—were all amazing. During our visit to Casablanca, Hamza discovered that I have a love of lighthouses. When we entered our apartment, we saw a perfect view of the lighthouse in Casablanca. My room had the best view. All the food Hamza suggested and procured for us was tasty. He insured that we tasted the local cuisine in every area we visited. When we mentioned that we had not had couscous yet, he ensured that we got the best couscous, eaten in the traditional way by scooping the couscous/veggies/meat out with bread. Those who wished were given utensils. Hamza chose amazing guides for Marrakech, Fez, and the Monkey Fingers, and he constantly gave us information about Moroccan history, geography, people, food, religion, culture and answered our endless questions. The driver Hamza chose could not have been more impressive. He navigated roads and traffic with skill and was polite and accommodating. I will miss having someone open and close my door for me. Without him the trip would have been nerve wracking. As with all trips, there were a few snafus. Hamza worked with us to overcome every obstacle. Hamza was an excellent guide who made a dream into a trip better than I could ever have imagined. I cannot recommend Hamza enough.

Hamza made this tour unbelievably exceptional. He customized it to fit our specific interests, adding in our requested two great hikes, more interaction with the local people and culture and food, especially the Berber people. He is so knowledgeable and answered our many questions about everything from history, culture, and Islam to agriculture, trees, and the best food in each region we visited. He is incredibly gracious and met our every need. He is truly the best guide we’ve ever experienced. He made our 11 days in Morocco an incredible memory making experience where we got to get beyond the tourist traps and experience real life here. We are recommending him to all our friends.
