What To Expect

Mount Everest

The Everest Experience flight gives the best opportunity to get the closest and the best view of Mount Everest (8,850mts) & other mountains such as; Shisa Pangma (8,013m), Gauri Shanker (7,134m), Melungtse (7,023m), Cho Oyu (8,201m), Pumori (8,171m), Nuptse (7,855m), Lhotse (8,516m) & Ama Dablam (6,856m). The flights are operated every morning from Kathmandu airport which flies at an average altitude of 6,500 - 7,000 meters. Circling Mount Amadablam to enter the Khumbu valley, we take the passengers almost five nautical miles from the highest peak in the world - Mt. Everest (weather permitting). This flight usually lasts for slightly less than an hour. We provide each passenger with individual window seats (guaranteed) during the entire flight. This is an extremely popular activity and booking ahead is recommended. The client will get individual window seats during the entire flight. This 50-60 minutes flight is a truly memorable experience that one should not miss out in Nepal.

We were picked up at 5:00AM and everything was well organized from the start, with staff clearly explaining the check-in process and even advising which side of the aircraft would offer the best views. With clear weather, our flight departed at 7:08 AM, which we were told is quite early for winter due to fog. The flight was an incredible experience and seeing the Himalayas and Everest from the air felt surreal and unforgettable. The cabin crew were friendly, informative, and pointed out the major peaks throughout the journey. We landed at 8:11 AM, our guide was waiting in the arrivals area, and we were back at our hotel before 9 AM. Overall, it was a smooth, well-run experience that we would highly recommend

Exceptionally well organized trip with excellent communication throughout. Our guide was punctual, friendly, very knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful, making the entire experience smooth and stress free. Seeing Mount Everest was a dream come true and the main highlight of this incredible experience, along with breathtaking views of the world’s highest mountains. Truly top-notch service.

For those who aren't into trekking - this is closest one can experience Mt Everest. The feeling one gets seeing the tallest peak in the world cannot be described in words. Kudos to the team for end to end coordination especially Kusalk who also suggested us to sit on the right side of the flight to have a better viewing experience. Icing on the cake was a tour to Pashupatinath temple on the way back. Will recommend this to everyone who are visiting Nepal.

It was an amazing experience with everything great from start to finish. The staff was so supportive, picked us up on time and also helped with the full day bookings.
