Mount Conner
Mt Conner is situated on a vast, fully operational, privately owned cattle station, called Curtin Springs Station. While the dams on the property were constructed for watering cattle, here you will find the perfect natural habitat for red kangaroos and a vast array of birds and reptiles of the Red Centre. You will discover an ancient inland salt lake and learn about the European history of the region. While you enjoy a glass of sparkling wine, you will be captivated by the spectacular changing colours of sunset over Mt Conner before returning to relish a three-course outback dinner prepared by the cook at Curtin Springs Station.

Our guide Andy was great. We went to salt lakes, drank sparkling wine with a fantastic view, then had such a nice dinner at the cattle station.

This was a wonderful experience visiting Mt Connor and the Curtain Springs working cattle station. Just 6 guests and a 4 wheel drive seeing Mt. Connor up close, the salt lake and hearing the stories of life in the red centre. Bubbles at sunset and an outback steak dinner on the property. If you want an authentic outback experience away from the crowds this is for you.

SEIT Tours is the only one that does this little tour. Its a small tour you get to visit the one million acres of this amazing Cattle Farm, Salt Lake and Mt Conner, finishing off with a lovely steak dinner back at the Cattle Farm. This is definitely a must to do. Highly recommend.

Excellent experience! Our friendly tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the region, along with each stop on our tour. We ended our day at Curtin Springs and shared a wonderful home cooked meal prepared by 3rd generation family. An unforgettable experience!

We had such a fantastic time on this tour of Mt Conner and the Curtain Spring cattle station. We only had four people on our tour and Max our guide was fantastic. His enthusiasm for the culture, wildlife, and scenery really showed his passion for the landscape and culture in the area. If you want something off the beaten path and different from the tours in Uluru take this one! It was amazing!

Dan & Max were fantastic tour guides on our small, intimate tour of 6 people. It was refreshing to get away from the normal tourist routes; SEIT has exclusive access to a working million acre cattle station. Dan & Max explained the fascinating history related to the family who've settled here and demonstrated incredible resilience to keep the cattle farm running despite the harsh environment.

I took the tour with Dan and Steve. It was non stop information and entertainment. What a valuable location and a true story of Aussie spirit in keeping that station going. The bus was very comfortable and cool on a very hot day. We visited the station and prepared for the exclusive tour to Mt. Conner. This is private land and you can not see it any other way. We toured the salt lakes and cattle yards, visited Mt Conner and witnessed lots of wildlife and stunning views on the way. Stopping on the road back to the station we shared some bubbles as the sun set. When the nibbles were done we returned to the bus for dinner at the station. I recommend choosing some medium (or rare) steak and a glass of red wine. Food was delicious and appreciated. After dessert we took a moment to support the station with purchases of their handmade paper and souvenirs. Thank you Dan and Steve for a great tour.

Wow. So special, so unique. Yes, Ayers Rock and Kata are must sees. But the Mount Connor trip is a better overall experience. Our guide, Max, was enthusiastic and fun. Many stops on the way. Each an individual and outstanding perspective on this region. Unmissable!
