We did not go on the excursion. We were unable to find the meeting spot and everyone we asked had no idea what we were talking about. Our hotel sent us to the boat dock but they knew nothing about the excursion. VERY disappointed

This was a wonderful tour, it’s self paced and we had a great day! The boat was lovely, the train was fun, the spa was fantastic and the cable car was fun too!

Views from the top weren’t good cos unfortunately we didn’t get a good day but overall the experience was amazing. It’s so easy to follow and I love how it’s self paced. The hot springs were beautiful

This tour is recommended. The best part we enjoyed was doing everything on our on time. The view was spectacular and the people were friendly. It was easy to move about as almost everyone spoke English! This is a trip you shouldn’t pass on!

Great set up. Included ferry, cable car, train, and spa entrance. We went at our own pace. Never had a hiccup. Highly recommended

Boat wouldn’t allow us to use this ticket argued that we needed a separate ticket to take the boat to Vitznau from Lucern. took the cogwheel train and they also couldn’t scan the ticket, but they were kind enough to let us go anyways. The spa was super busy and over crowded. Nothing is open on Sundays- so very few options for coffee and food! The. we took the cable car down and it was so packed we could t see anything Worst tour ever! I have taken dozens of tours and would t recommend this one. Get your own tickets, and do your own thing!

I understand why this is called the queen of mountains, it was absolutely beautiful! I like how the tour included a cable car ride, train ride and boat ride. Got to see the beautiful scenery from so many different levels and angles!

Fantastic experience using the Mineralbad Spa (although shame about the rain clouding our view) and all the transport went smoothly, even using our Viator issued e-ticket. Highly recommend going back via the Weggis cable car (the views were amazing once the sun came out) and checking the latest timetable for each transport link.

My friends and I recently spent a fantastic day exploring Mount Rigi, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our time in Switzerland. We began our journey with a scenic boat ride across Lake Lucerne (via the Schiff from Landungsstegg 1), which was a peaceful and picturesque way to start the day. From there, we boarded the cogwheel railway — a charming and historic ride that steadily climbed its way up the mountain, offering increasingly stunning views with every turn. Once at the top, we set out on a brisk hike, taking in the crisp alpine air and absolutely incredible panoramic views of the surrounding lakes and peaks. The trail was invigorating and rewarding, leading us down to the cable car station for the final leg of our journey. While the descent by cable car was certainly efficient, it was a bit cramped — especially after the open freedom of the trails. Still, it didn’t take away from the overall experience, which was a perfect blend of adventure, natural beauty, and a satisfying day’s exercise. Mount Rigi definitely lived up to its reputation as the “Queen of the Mountains.”

This is self guided... Could easily book on own for less. Spa is great but no shampoo, lotion, robe etc.
