Pick up point was not described properly. It was a 20 minute walk to the supposed site, where as it could of been much closer. Tour started an hour later than it should have. Guide was not knowledgeable about most of the tour and rambled on. Confused us as far as our pickup point also. It's NONREFUNDABLE AFTER YOU BOOK IT. DON'T DO THIS TOUR!!!!!

I'm sorry to have to rate this tour poorly because the bus driver was a kind, friendly person. However, the tour was listed on the Viator website as a 5-hour tour, and it lasted less than 4 hours. We had a nice photo stop at Cape Kidnappers and learned a lot on our own about honey at the Arataki Honey store. We drove past the Craggy Range Winery where our guide told us that Jacinda Ardern was married, but he didn't stop as many on the bus hoped. Most of the trip was just driving around the countryside with little information provided by the bus driver/ tour guide. When people asked questions, he was often unable to hear them and didn't answer. A few times the tour guide asked for a consensus on what we might do next as if there was a choice in the itinerary, but he could only hear the few people in the front. The people in the middle and back of this large group bus had to shout their concerns. Overall, the tour leader was well meaning, and we had a few brief stops that were interesting, but definitely not worth the money and did not fulfill the 5 hour tour advertised.

Our tour guide took us to some fantastic views AND she also took us on a side trip to a 'honey tasting' store that was fantastic.

Lovely excursion with a wonderful guide. Learned so much about Napier and it’s history. The guide was so knowledgeable and kind! I left my phone at one of the stops and he was so gracious in turning around to go back for it. Luckily we weren’t to far away. But other guides would have been frustrated or not even done it. He was so kind. The views on this trip were so pretty. The info on the history of the town and buildings were fascinating. We truly enjoyed it!
