It helps to have a little experience on riding an ATV. On the specific ATV's that we went on, you had to hold the throttle in with your right thumb at all times to make it go. This caused my thumb to be very sore afterward. The gloves that were given to the females were very thin with the fingers cut off. This did nothing for helping with the vibration of the ride and my hands kept cramping up. The guide, Harry, was great however very stoic and wanted to move things along at a very fast pace. Kept yelling at people to "keep up" to make the ride a good one.

Harry is incredible! Great instructor and cares about his riders, the equipment and respects the dangers that are apparent and not. 100% would recommend Nellis ATV tours

It was ok. We had to keep stopping due to one person in the group unable to work ATV. Our tour guide was obnoxious and due to his anger kept beating up the steering wheel on the way back. Wouldn't book again or at least not with him.

I usually don’t write negative reviews, but this was awful. Our start time was 8am, we arrived at 7:40. My friend and I went for the same time, but booked separately. At 7:31, Harry called her and asked where she was, and she said 10 minutes away. He asked if I was also there and said that everyone was waiting on us, but they would wait. We came and parked, getting the tablets to fill out waivers, which should’ve been available to do before hand. He hollered at us that they were going to leave us as we were paying for parking, and the cashier in the store we met at even noted his rudeness, saying that they didn’t need to leave until 8. We got in the van, and he made jabbing remarks to the whole group about us being late, about nailing wigs and weaves on his office wall, (we were the only ones on the van with braids), and lash extensions (I was the only one with them). Then, proceeded to try and scare the group by telling us of all the animals in the dunes, and later telling us that his “tool is fear” and he just wanted us to ride safely because the ATVs are expensive and we have to pay if we break them. He gave us 30 seconds to learn how to ride (we told him it’s our first time ever) and when I couldn’t keep straight (I veered a bit), he came and snatched the goggles off the my head, said I couldn’t go, and said he “needed his gloves back too”. He did the same to my friend and made us stand outside the van that he had locked with our water inside, and continued their hour ride. When he came back, he told us “at least you guys didn’t get dirty”. Overall, he was rude and very aggressive. We paid $150 to stand in the hot desert for an hour and be screamed at and berated by Harry.
