The National Palace, a historic landmark in Addis Ababa, was built in 1955 to commemorate Emperor Haile Selassie’s Silver Jubilee. Over the decades, the palace has served as the dwelling of Ethiopia’s heads of state. More than just a building, the Jubilee Palace is a living relic, reflecting Ethiopia’s royal heritage and an iconic feature of Addis Ababa’s landscape. The palace, which has served as the primary residence of Emperor Haile Selassie I was originally named the Jubilee Palace in honor of the Emperor’s Silver Jubilee observed in 1955. The National Palace Museum exhibits Ethiopia's rich heritage and treasures, include Ethiopian history and culture, the emperor's collection of luxury cars and train wagons, and exhibits of royal regalia and artifacts.

Please be advised that we provide tour guides, transportation, photography, and education service. Entrance fees estimated at 20 USD per site/USD 20.00 per person. Plus, each traveller must pay driver.
