What To Expect
Night Safari
Venture into the world's first Night Safari, which is located in Singapore. Relax on your Tram Ride while exploring this tropical jungle as the mysteries unfold after dusk. Journey into 6 geographical zones to witness the natural habitat of more than 1,000 nocturnal creatures, which replicates the landscape of their homeland. You can also hop-off the Tram Ride to escape into the thrilling Leopard Trail. Witness flying bats, giant flying squirrels and much more. Before rejoining the next tram, you may wish to explore further on foot to the enthralling Fishing Cat Trail or the romantic Forest Giant Trail. Watch the Creatures of the Night Show that demonstrates the incredible predatory and survival skills of nocturnal animals, if time permits.

4.00Sadly we had to go an hour and an half later than we originally booked so it was a bit rushed. I really wanted to see the white tiger which we did during the tram ride but it was after 11pm and so dark I could not get a photo as no flash camera allowed but glad to see. The show beforehand was good and the anomals looked well cared for

4.00We were on a tram at sunset. We saw plenty of the animals We then did the pangolin walk. That was great. Saw many nocturnal animals. The zoo is huge and needs the whole day to explore. Add the night tour to the end of your day.

5.00Our Night Safari experience was truly unforgettable! The tram ride queue management was smooth and the ride experience is engaging, and offered a fascinating glimpse into the nocturnal world, with clear commentary that brought each habitat to life. The walking trails were equally impressive—well-designed, immersive, and allowed us to get even closer to the animals in a calm and natural setting. What made the experience even more special was the dedication and friendliness of the staff with special mentioned for Ngel and Ogy who were always ready to guide, share insights, and ensure a safe and enjoyable visit. It was a perfect blend of adventure, education, and nature that we thoroughly enjoyed. An awesome attraction to visit when you are in Mandai and Singapore! :)

2.00I should’ve gone with my gut feeling that told me not to ignore the over 20 bad reviews. I picked the 7:15pm slot and the site said it was confirmed but the small print read that if your time selected was not available that they would give you another time. The tour company did not contact us until 5:00 and then informed us that your time slot was not available. The tour company was slow to respond to my contact request and only responded via message from the TripAdvisor site. I was unsuccessful in contacting them via telephone call. The Night Safari was decent, recommend you book the tickets from the Night Safari site vice using a third party booking company.

5.00The river boat tour was wonderful and relaxing. The light show at the botanical gardens was illuminating. The fountain show at the marina sands was good and the night time view of Singapore will stay with us for a long time!

Viator hires liars and fraudulent third parties

1.00The tour operator is a liar. We paid for an 8:15 times entry and he sent us the wrong tickets for 9:15 pm then we asked him in writing to confirm We can go earlier as that was too late. He confirmed several times and we have written proof of this. Then he lied more and was hostile and rude when he should have helped us we will never us Viator again be warned

5.00I came by myself because “night safari” sounded fun. It was! It’s like Halloween zoo without jump scares. The three things to do are basically a show, walking through the zoo via trails, and the safari tram. I’d recommend the way I did it, which was arrive 7:15 pm in time for the 7:30 show, then skip the tram lines in favor for the trails, and finally after you’re all done and made it back to the front of the park go to the tram. By the time I was ready for the tram it was around 9:30 pm, and there was no line. The tram ride was pretty cool — you get to go among some free-roaming animals (not the carnivores) and feels really good after all the walking. On your way out, you will pass a food court. The food is really mediocre and expensive, but the location is really strategic, so I did stop for dinner. Finally at 10:30 I took the Khativ shuttle back to MRT. The tickets are not cheap, but as they keep reminding you that conservation is included in the cost I guess it’s good to be contributing to the cause. An interesting experience for sure!

3.00I found the whole thing slightly average. Quite expensive. Very busy. Short tram ride around the zoo. Long way away from town. But perhaps those were things to be expected. The best thing was how close the animals seemed.
