My husband and I went on a tour last night, it was awesome. We saw 6 turtles. One lay her eggs on the beach. The guides helped her dig the hole and bury it. Christian was very respectful of the turtles, did not let anyone get too close or use flash photography. I appreciated that they didn't let the kids bother the turtles, as some parents don't teach them to be respectful. The walk to the beach was easy. The sky was full of beautiful stars. We even saw some phytoplankton glowing with the waves. If you are a nature lover, this is the tour for you ☺️

Great tour. Our guide, Christian, was very knowledgeable and informative. You do need to be ok walking on gravel and loose rock to get to the beach. Really neat experience.

I went with my husband to see the sea turtles in tamarind and it was one of the best tours you can do in tamarind. We saw two green turtles and we saw eggs. It was a very real encounter with sea turtles.

Love the professionalism from Christian Junior. Absolutely amazing once in a lifetime experience. We were fortunate enough to see the whole process, patience is a must but worth it.

Christian and the other two guides were very eager to show our group, about 30 people, turtles laying eggs. With success! We were incredibly lucky to meet 2 green turtles (Chelonia mydas agassizii). With a safe distance and the necessary respect, we were able to observe a turtle digging and laying eggs in small groups. Important! Only observe under red light and never use flash light! Unfortunately, there are always participants who do not respect this. Of course, patience is also required. Between the first and second observations we searched 2 more sections of the beach and also waited over almost 1 hour at the beach edge for an arrival, without success. But even this time was exciting once you got used to the darkness. You should be good on foot, steeper and stonier sections were on our tour. Mosquito repellent recommended.

You will be picked up at the entrance of your hotel and driven about 45 minutes to the turtle nesting area on the slightly rocky road. When you arrive you are given flashlights and you take a short walk, when you arrive at the place you wait a little to see where the turtle activity is and then we see the sea turtles. Turtles are big and very cute you can take photos and videos and be inches away from them

Were picked up on time, then continued with another vehicle, but with waiting time. Afterwards we drove towards the beach, but the roads were in catastrophic condition. Unfortunately, we didn't know how far the road was, which was very worrying. When we arrived at the beach (after 2 hours) we stood around in the dark for an hour while our guide looked for turtles. Then we had to get on the bus quickly, went on to another beach as they had spotted some there. The path then went on foot again almost 15min over rough terrain, until we finally arrived at the beach. There we were rewarded after almost 3.5 hours with all three species (even the endangered species). Final we were then after over 6.5 hours. Back at the hotel. Luckily, they had lunch at the latest. We would simply have liked more communication, as we were often left without information. Fortunately, we still had the nice end with the sightings, otherwise we would have been more than just disappointed with the tour. My wife felt that inquiries were not really wanted (at least by her)
