What To Expect
Tamarindo
Set sail along the stunning shores of Marino Las Baulas National Park and Playa Huevo, two hidden gems off the coast of Cabo Velas, Guanacaste. As you cruise past Marino Las Baulas, you’ll see thousands of untouched coastline — beaches like Playa Grande, Ventanas, and Carbón, surrounded by dry tropical forest and mangroves filled with seabirds, pelicans, frigates, and herons. 5.00We were on a family vacation with six adults. The catamaran cruise was a huge success. The weather was sunny, the crew was friendly and helpful, the food and drinks were great, the swim was refreshing and fun, and the sunset spectacular. If I had one suggestion for improvement, it was that all of us had trouble getting up the ladder after the swim. It should be a least one rung lower plus a bar on the boat (not the ladder) would make pulling oneself on board easier and safer.

3.00This was not a snorkeling trip because the ocean was cloudy and you could not see any fish or the bottom of the ocean with snorkel gear on. Also, we weren’t aware that there were 65 people on our catamaran. The food was great the staff were nice but way too many people and way too much drinking, especially with the younger people on the boat.

5.00This tour is an exceptional way to spend an afternoon in Tamarindo. The crew was very welcoming and hospitable and made sure that everyone had a wonderful time. Friendly, engaging, one of the members was checking with guests on drinks and any needs that they had. The boat is absolutely gorgeous and clean, facilities were clean and comfortable the sail was smooth and relaxing. The beach that they took us to was absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of delicious cocktails, and lunch was excellent. And of course, the unforgettable Tamarindo sunset. Pura vida!
