5.00Guide Rudy and driver Orlando we're very accommodating to their passengers. We learned a lot from them and saw wonderful things. This tour did not disappoint. We saw sloths, toucans, and other beautiful birds. The Catarata Llanos de Cortez waterfall was stunning. The tour through the coffee/cacao farm was very informative and I enjoyed every minute.

5.00Amazing experience once we finally got started. Boom was the absolute BEST tour guide. He’s fully bilingual and very knowledgeable. This was the only your I took on this trip where I could ask a question and actually have the guide know the answer.

5.00We had a really great experience. It really made me feel like we got to see and experience Costa Rica. It was just me and my husband and 8 other couples who all came together. Gino (not sure if I’m spelling correctly) was our tour guide and Mauricio (I think) was our driver. They were both great. The bus ride to the first destination was a few hours and Gino told us about history, economy, geography and a little politics of Costa Rico and the Guanacaste province, all of which I did not know. It was very interesting. You could tell he really loves his country and really appreciates and loves the wildlife. He was very enthusiastic about it. He was also very friendly to all of us tourists. I felt that we made a new friend in Costa Rica. He even took a picture with us and hugged us before we left. We had great guides (Maria) in the rainforest hike and at the chocolate and coffee tasting. We saw sloths, toucans, frogs, a bat, viper snake and some spiders. Maria was a pro at taking good pics (she took some really shots on my phone) and let me use her binoculars. The waterfall was a lot of fun and Gino took pictures of me and my husband in front of the waterfall. We also stopped at a large gift shop for souvenirs which was nice- we bought chocolate and gifts for family. Overall, it was a really great experience. It was a full day and I’m so glad we did it. There are restrooms at every stop and a place to change at the waterfall. If you’re thinking about booking, do it! You won’t regret it. -Jonathan & Jonathan’s wife (Michelle)

5.00Boom and Orlando were amazing guides and drivers! We were a group of 8 with a mix of ages, including kids and older adults, and we had such a fun day with them. They made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. Boom was incredibly knowledgeable about Costa Rica and all the different stops along the way, and he did a great job explaining what we were doing next so we always knew what to expect. We never felt rushed at all. The waterfall was beautiful and an easy walk down to see it. The sloth experience was awesome — we saw two sloths really close up! We also really enjoyed the coffee and chocolate tour, which was a perfect way to end the day. We would highly recommend this experience!

5.00Such a great experience! We were picked up at our hotel in Tamarindo and taken to the waterfall first. It was a short but steep walk on a paved path down to the waterfall, and we enjoyed getting our feet wet and taking beautiful pix. Then we drove to the rainforest and were taken on a gentle hike through the trees. Our guides Boom and Eduardo found a pit viper, dart frogs, and sloths for us to see. Eduardo even offered to take pictures of the animals for us and the pix were amazing! Finally, they found a baby sloth climbing down a tree which was magical! After the rainforest experience, we went to a nearby restaurant for the included lunch which was delicious and plentiful! Our last stop was at a coffee plantation where we had a tour, and saw how it was roasted and ground. We were offered delicious samples of coffee and chocolate. Then we had a long ride home (since Tamarindo is the furthest away and the traffic on the two-lane road from Liberia in the afternoon is brutal) but our driver Miguel was wonderful. We highly recommend this tour! The company is on top of things and knows what it’s doing. All of our guides were top-notch! And they even have an airport shuttle with reasonable rates that we booked and can completely recommend.

5.00Mauricio and Gino provided a great tour. They even saved a sloth crossing the road. True story. The jungle tour was amazing (plenty of sloths to see), and I really enjoyed the coffee/chocolate part and learning about Costa Rica.
