From Tamarindo we will head North up the coast for about 1 hour while we will enjoy delightful drinks, spectacular scenery and the possibility for spotting for sea life such as whales, dolphins, turtles and rays. Then we will moor in a cove near Playa Huevos for water activities. After the water activities we return to the boat to enjoy a delicious, light meal around 4 PM. Once the food service is complete we weigh anchor and head back to Tamarindo. All the while you’ll enjoy our good music, drinks, perhaps a little dancing, and likely an amazing sunset. We’ll deliver back to shore just after the sun sets.

We had a really fun catamaran experience in Tamarindo, Costa Rica! Overall, it was such a great way to spend time on the water. The food served on board was good, and the whole atmosphere was very relaxed and enjoyable. The crew were accommodating, friendly, and made sure everyone was taken care of, which we appreciated. The sunset views were absolutely beautiful — definitely one of the highlights of the trip and perfect for photos. One small downside was that it took a while for the crew to anchor the boat at our swim stop, so our swimming time felt a bit short. The life vests provided were was uncomfortable, its not meant for leisurely floating 😆 Other than that, the experience had great vibes all around, and we still had a wonderful time. It’s a fun activity to do while visiting Tamarindo!

We had a wonderful day with Blue Dolphin! We were a group of 18 visiting Guanacaste for a conference. We booked a private morning tour. The staff was very responsive to messages and accommodated all of our requests! They even helped arrange transportation to and from our hotel. The time on the boat was extremely enjoyable. As soon as we departed the drinks started, followed by fresh fruit, and later a wonderful breakfast! Everyone loved the banana bread! We had ample time to do water activities too. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful experience!

Had a great time. We met up on beach and they took us out to catamaran on dinghy boats. Once on the catamaran the staff did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We rode for awhile and came to beach we stayed at for about 45 min. Snorkeling wasn’t good bc it was windy. But nice to swim around boat and explore the beach area. Heading back on the boat we listened to music and they served us a delicious meal, all we could eat. We spotted humpback whales! The boat went closer and allowed us to watch them for 20 minutes. He sunset was beautiful just as we were getting back. Perfect timing.

From the moment we stepped aboard, we were welcomed, including a fantastic welcome cocktail. The trip itself was super fun and we had a blast swimming in a beautiful cove. Daniel was throwing beers at us while we swam and floated and we had quite a few. The meal they served was delicious and filling. But most important were the folks working the boat - they were warm, fun and interacted with us the entire trip. The captain even brought us some starfish he found snorkeling, two different varieties that we'd never seen before. Amazing trip, highly recommend!

The actual catamaran experience was a 5 star. When they say open bar they mean it and the lunch was very good. Snorkeling was non existent because it was windy. The 3 star rating is because the tour operator kept changing the date for our tour-2 changes. Then we kept getting conflicting emails from Viator confirming old dates. Very unsettling and confusing.

Very unfriendly crew who were more interested in standing around looking at their phones then working. We took this excursion yesterday and this could of been a very fun boat. Instead they played slow music that made you want to nap, limited what drink they served and were in general cranky. The kayaking and paddle boards were not taken out when we got to the cove and they told us we could snorkel but we shouldn't because it was terrible. We asked for kayaks and they said no. The food was good and the sunset view was amazing. They will have it timed perfectly so you are stepping off the boat the second the sun goes down. All in all, the only problem with this trip is the crew.

Fantastic time on the Blue Dolphin for our girls trip to CR! Spotting whales, floating with noodles in the warm water while the crew tossed us beers 😂 and a little dancing on the return trip in all fed the soul. Thanks Blue Dolphin crew for making GREAT memories.

This excursion is nothing more than a 1 and a half way out and the same thing on the return at a pace of about 7 knots to a beach where you stop for 1 hour and nothing else. You expect nothing more. On board friendly crew they offer you drinks in open bar and a light lunch. But from the naturalistic point of view zero cut
