Boom was our guide and he was so sweet. The waterfall is pretty and totally instagram-able. Boom was very good at spotting animals and wildlife on our short jaunt through the rainforest. He clearly knows a lot about what you will see. The coffee portion of the tour was super fun and I believe our person was Hillary. She was lovely. My kids (13 and 15) had a great time. It’s a full day experience with a decent amount of driving. They will stop for breakfast so don’t stress about eating before. We saw all the animals in my pics (taken with iPhone 17).

Emmanuel and Kathy were incredible! Great communication and 5 star care and driving. Highly recommend this experience, it was my favorite in Costa Rica! Brought two kids 11 and 13 they also had. Great time. Short walk to the waterfall & around the nature center. Bring rain jackets or even the cheap ponchos in case of rain.

First off before coming to Costa Rica I booked it. They reached out through the WhatsApp, kind of letting me know what to suspect what to bring got picked up from my hotel picked up another couple then we met up at the main location. Our main tour guide was Kathy great kept us interact by telling the stuff along the way to the spot because I was by myself helped with getting photos then the walk back up top from the waterfalls didn’t we had an hour ride to the rainforest where we saw birds, ants, poisonous frog different kinds of flowers termites three sloths then we made our way to lunch that was protein, rice and beans, salad water with some kind of tea and rice pudding. Then we went over to the coffee/ chocolate tour. She kept us interacted on the way back till we got dropped off. Will definitely like to bring my kids.

What a great way to see and experience Costa Rica in one day. We were picked up at our hotel in a nice tour van by our private tour guide (Bum —pronounced Boom). Drove 45 minutes to see the water falls and was served fresh sliced pineapple. Water was available the entire day. Next stop was at the rain forest where we were guided through paths to see sloths, marching ants, poisonous insects, viper snake, lots of butterflies, frogs, etc. Really enjoyable. Then off to the free lunch included with the tour and a scoop of ice cream for a treat while the afternoon rain passed through. Then back to see the coffee and cocoa farm, watch the harvesting and roasting process, hand-grind the beans and make fresh-brewed coffee and hot chocolate over an open-flame stove. Then enjoyed the CR country side on the ride back to a souvenir shop and to our hotel. We did pick up four people at another hotel, so eight of us enjoyed the entire day with a nice tour bus and Bum, our private guide. He was funny and attentive to all passengers throughout the trip, watching and timing events around the weather. Although we didn’t swim at the waterfall, we enjoyed walking around the area. We brought rain coats we purchased at the souvenir shop for $6 each. Thankfully we didn’t need them as we timed everything around the brief rain showers. I wood highly recommend this all-in-one tour to see a little bit of everything CR has to offer.

I wanted to share feedback on our sloth tour—overall, we had a great experience. Rudy and Orlando did an excellent job of providing a high-quality, well-organized tour. The van picked us up at the Westin resort right on time, and it was in good condition and very comfortable for the drive. The sloth tour itself was outstanding. We were able to see a sloth up close, along with many birds and even a snake. We also enjoyed the stop at a local restaurant—the food was very good. The coffee and chocolate tour was another highlight. It was fun, entertaining, and a great way to experience some of the local culture. It was a lot of driving overall, but definitely worth the time to see the area and experience the local sights.

This was the best tour! Boom, our tour guide was helpful and thoughtful toward our family. He provided water and fresh pineapple. Being able to step into the wildlife and learn so much was incredible! We got excellent pictures of sloths, toucan, frogs, snakes. Lunch was so delicious and well cooked and huge plate of food. Coffee and cocoa tour was informative, entertaining and good for all ages.

Our guide Rudy and driver Manuel took us on a fun 6 hour adventure. We saw waterfalls, learned about coffee, chocolate, and saw many animals. Rudy offered interesting information about Costa Rica and the areas we were visiting. We stopped at three different spots and the local guides at each place were excellent- sharing with us their land, their knowledge and took some great photos of animals that we spotted. Highly recommend this tour.

I booked a rainforest and sloth tour, and it ended up being my favorite experience of the entire trip. Boom, our tour guide, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Our driver—whose name I unfortunately forgot—was also wonderful and even surprised us with fresh pineapple after our swim at the waterfall. I’ve done three other excursions, and this one was by far the best. We spotted so much wildlife: frogs, snakes, sloths, and a huge variety of birds. The coffee and chocolate tastings were also absolutely delicious. Truly an unforgettable experience!
