  • Alone on the Nile found peace I was looking for

    S4663DQnoahj,Mar 26, 2026

I did this cruise alone and I am so glad I did. I needed time to think and the Nile is the perfect place for that. Sitting on the deck watching the water go by with the sun setting behind the palm trees I felt like I was in a different world. The temples were incredible but what really got me was the little things like the sound of the call to prayer from a village as we sailed past. My guide was a young guy named Mustafa and he was so passionate about Egyptian history he made me care about things I never thought about before. He told me a story about how his grandfather used to fish on this same river and I felt connected to something real. The admission fees were taken care of so no hassle. The length of the trip was just right five days flew by but I saw everything I wanted. The crowd size was fine there were other tourists but it never felt overwhelming. The staff on the ship were kind and always made sure I had tea or coffee. Best for solo travelers looking for peace and reflection.

  • Nile cruise with friends history and relaxation combined

My friends and I booked this cruise because we wanted something different from our usual beach trips. We are all in our thirties and we like history but we also like having fun and this trip delivered both. The boat had a small pool and we spent hours there just talking and watching the villages go by. The temples were amazing but what I remember most is the night we docked near a small town and we could hear music from the shore. We went to the Valley of the Kings and I stood in front of Tutankhamuns tomb thinking about how crazy it is that they found all that gold in there. The guide was great he kept things interesting and told us jokes. One day he showed us how to write our names in hieroglyphics and we all got little cartouches made later. The admission fees were covered so no stress there. The crowd size was okay sometimes we were with other tourists but it was fine. The atmosphere on the boat was chill during the day and a little more lively at night. The staff were always around if we needed anything. I think this cruise is best for friends who want to learn something new but also relax together.

  • Nile cruise with my brother felt like magic

I went on this cruise with my brother last spring and honestly I didn't know what to expect from a Nile trip. We spent four nights on the ship and every day felt like a new discovery. The staff on board were super friendly always smiling and making sure our room was clean and our glasses were full. We visited the Valley of the Kings and I was blown away by the colors still on the walls after all those years. My favorite part was Karnak Temple at sunset the place is massive and the light made everything look gold. The guide told us a story about how they used to move obelisks and I still think about that when I see big statues now. The crowd size was manageable not too many people pushing around and the atmosphere on the ship was relaxed. Admission fees were all included so we never had to worry about pulling out cash at the gates. The length of the visit at each site was perfect we had enough time to take photos and listen to the guide without feeling rushed. I think this trip is best for anyone who wants to see the real Egypt without dealing with the stress of planning every detail.

  • We took this Nile cruise for our anniversary trip

We did this trip as a couple for our anniversary and it was the best decision we made all year. The ship was comfortable and clean and waking up to the Nile view every morning was something I will never forget. We visited Kom Ombo temple at night and the whole place was lit up beautifully it felt like we were in a movie. Our Egyptologist guide was named Ahmed and he knew everything about every god and pharaoh we saw. One afternoon we sat on the deck watching the sun go down and a guy from Spain offered us some tea he made it was a nice moment. The staff on the boat were always around to help with bags or bring drinks without being annoying about it. The admission fees were part of the package so no hidden costs which I appreciated. The crowd size varied some temples were busy but others we had almost to ourselves. The atmosphere was peaceful especially when the boat was sailing between cities. I would say this experience is best for couples who want a mix of history and relaxation.

  • Solo on the Nile a week I really needed

I went solo on this cruise because I needed a break from work and wanted to see something different. From the moment I stepped on the ship I felt welcome not awkward at all like I worried I might be. There were other solo travelers too and we ended up hanging out during meals and sharing stories. The guide was fantastic he noticed I was really into the hieroglyphics so he spent extra time explaining things to me after the group moved on. I told him about a dream I had about an Egyptian cat and he laughed and told me about the goddess Bastet. The temples we visited were incredible especially Karnak I walked around that place for hours just looking at everything. The admission fees were taken care of so I didn't have to carry much money around. The length of each stop was good we never felt like we were just rushing through. The crowd size was fine there were other groups but it never felt chaotic. The staff on the boat remembered my name by the second day which I thought was nice. Best for solo travelers who want to meet people but also have time alone.

  • Childhood dream come true Nile cruise with cousin

I went on this cruise with my cousin and it was a trip we will always remember. We had been planning it for years and it finally happened. The ship was great and the itinerary was perfect. We visited all the major temples and each one was unique. Our guide was a man named Hassan and he was excellent he knew how to tell a story. One evening we were on the deck and my cousin and I were talking about our childhood and how we used to dream of traveling and here we were on the Nile it was a full circle moment. The staff on the ship were amazing they even took a photo of us that we now have framed. Admission fees were included so no stress. The length of the cruise was just right. The crowd size was okay we had time to ourselves. The atmosphere was nostalgic and joyful. Best for cousins wanting to make memories.

  • Retired Friends Group Conquers the Nile Cruise

    - Review from Tripadvisor

We went on this Nile cruise with our group of retired friends and it was the trip of a lifetime. Eight of us in our sixties and seventies proving that adventure has no age limit. The ship was comfortable and the staff helped anyone who needed assistance. The East Bank tour was magnificent and we took our time. The admission fee was reasonable and we spent about four hours with rest breaks. The atmosphere was joyful and the crowd was manageable. The staff treated us with respect and kindness. This cruise is best for senior friend groups. One afternoon we had a dance party on the deck. The crew played Egyptian music and we all danced. The temple at Edfu was impressive and our guide adjusted the pace for us. The temple of Kom Ombo fascinated everyone with the crocodile mummies. The sail to Aswan was relaxing and we shared life stories. The Nubian village visit was colorful and we bought gifts for grandchildren. This trip proved that retirement is the beginning not the end. We are already planning our next adventure together.

  • Health Recovery Celebration on the Nile

    - Review from Tripadvisor

I booked this Nile cruise for a solo adventure after a long illness and it symbolized my return to life. I had been through treatment and this trip was my celebration of health. The ship felt like a rebirth. The East Bank temples were beautiful but walking through them felt like reclaiming my strength. The admission fee was reasonable and I took my time resting when needed. The atmosphere was healing and the crowd was respectful. The staff were gentle and supportive always checking if I needed rest. This cruise is best for survivors celebrating life. One afternoon I sat on the deck crying tears of joy. A crew member sat with me and held my hand. He didnt need words. The guide on the West Bank shared stories about resurrection in Egyptian mythology that resonated deeply. The temple of Philae felt sacred and I said a prayer of thanks. The sail between cities was peaceful and I felt my health returning with each breath. I returned home stronger in body and spirit. This cruise marked my comeback and I will never forget it.

The trip on Farah Nile Cruise was unforgettable. The sailing from Luxor to Aswan is very smooth and the scenery along the way is amazing. We visited breathtaking ancient sites such as the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Temple of Karnak. Ibrahim, our guide, explained the history of ancient Egypt, especially the pharaohs and their tombs, wonderfully. The on-board facilities and services are also excellent and the catering is satisfying. This voyage is a must-see experience for travelers who want to delve into ancient Egyptian history.
